I didn't want the vintage steel ice trays they're a hassle this is exactly what I was looking for very hard to come by had them for a few months now I ordered 2 and so far so good. Idk why there are so many negative reviews it's exactly as pictured the ice cubes are a decent size not too big or small, it's easy to remove literally the simplest instructions to follow yet I read reviews people having a hard time trying get them out, just run it under hot water for a few seconds no more than 5-7 seconds and you hear them pop out. But I do wish the ring on the suction cup was higher quality it can bend out of shape very easily and cut you if you're not careful. All in all worth a buy.

Love the quality, build, material, ease of use.Bu two major cons prevent me from recommending for cocktails.1. These cubes are TINY. I know the measurements are clearly defined in the description, so that's on me. But these need to be at least 50% larger for a nice cube of ice in a cocktail.2. These cubes ARE NOT CUBES! They are flat squares.Hope the manufacturer makes a larger size and actual cube shapes. I would buy that! I'm looking for a perfect square cube that is 3x3 inches.

The taste of real ice! I thought our water when we camp was bad tasting.Turns out it was the silicone ice trays no matter how many times I washed them those ice trays leach a funky taste to your ice! The metal trays are great ya just have to be a little patient to get out the ice.the cover is great!

I purchased the tray as my silicone trays get a nasty smell after awhile. The steel trays are a good idea but poorly executed. They are way too shallow. Once frozen one cannot twist the tray to release the cubes. One must run the tray under warm water which partially melts the cubes. Not ideal considering the cubes are small to begin with. I cannot recommend these.

These are great trays and sturdy. Perhaps too sturdy as I found no acceptable method to remove cubes. Will be throwing them away.

I wanted to replace my silicone ice trays (silicone smells after a short time and may not be a healthy choice). I tried this a as an alternative. The tray is shallow (small ice cubes). The removal is tricky but once I realize what the suction cup was for it was apparent.

Heavy duty and damage resistant. No BPA"s or plastic taste.
