is there a wake up alarm function?

There’s a timer setting to limit how long to hear the noise but no setting for an Alarm. It’s not a clock just a White Noise Machine. It does have a Night Light which is nice.

The thunderstorm setting, is it just thunder or rain and thunder?

The thunderstorm setting has rain with intermittent thunder in the background, subtle as it comes and goes.
