Kinchoix 70 Ft 3/4" CSST Gas Line

Worked great at running a gas line from a 100lb propane tank to a floor heater. Very easy to work with/very modular. I would recommend this form of running gas line to anyone. No leaks from this line.

Very easy product to use for hooking up gas fireplace. Make sure test all joints with soapy water before using.

Have 3/4 pipe ends, ID of the line is closer to 5/8. The ends are loose, and are easy to take off if you need to shorten. I had this from the hands of the delivery driver to installed and leak tested in an hour. For my application, this was the perfect solution. I needed more btu delivery than what a 100ft run of 1/2 would deliver, but less than what full 3/4 could. The line appears to be quality, and was easy to work with and a cinch to shorten. I used a cutoff wheel to keep from deforming the tube, cut the coating back to expose 3 ridges and installed the connector.

Works excellent as long as you properly install end fittings and don't over tighten them.

This is sold as 3/4" CSST, but its nominal ID is 16mm, which is about 5/8 inch. This makes a big difference in flow rate over 70 feet, and the common CSST tables do not list 5/8" nominal ID. As a result, it cannot be properly sized, and you should assume it's 1/2" on the tables and use those numbers. Also, the fittings are not easy to cut and splice - a custom tool is required. So although it is pre-terminated, if you want to cut to length (maybe to compensate for the flow restriction . . .), it's not the same process as other common CSST on the market. I sent it back and went to Home Depot to get the proper size.

In canada. Using for a shop heater. The hose works pretty well. Very stiff but that’s to be expected. The one thing you need to know is that you need to put the brass “ferrules” that come in two halves on each end about one ring down from the end this gives space to get the rubber gasket to seal up over the line and in turn seal onto the adapter. I didn’t realize this on one end and had a leak when I tested it. Quickly tried it the correct way and no leaks.
