Mielle Organics Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Cream (7.5 oz.)

This product of Curl cream delivers like it says. The smell attaches quickly, but is very lovely. I like this product b/c just applying I noticed it curls without retracting all the hair. So it leaves it long p, which is what I wanted. I could pair it with something else, but I don’t have to, as it works alone, on its on. Put some on my kids hair it the same. We all have Category 4 hair. Different varying degrees of A-C. So it’s a winner. It also dries quickly another feature I have been looking for in curl cream products. I don’t want to send my kid to school w/wet hair, that will take minute to dry. Of course you can just blow dry & speed the process along. But no dry with this product. Do wonder why the product doesn’t come in any other size.You find a good product that they put on the market. They test it out & see how the public will respond. If it’s good & the crowd go crazy. They either lessen the awesome ingredients they put in it in the first place. Or the up price with same tube & no offer of more of the product. Ughhh the greed of people.

For the better part of a decade, I struggled to find a hair product that cut down on my frizz without making my curls either crunchy or flat. After many attempts to find the right product, I stumbled across Mielle in my local Target store. It was light and did exactly what I needed it to: make my hair less frizzy while leaving my curls alone. My hair was not crunchy from this product and it smelled fantastic. My Target store stopped carrying this product, so I have started buying it on Amazon and I'm happy with my purchase.

My hair is very thick, high porosity hair. I tried this curl cream 2 different ways. By itself, my I almost had no cast after applying gel and diffusing. It was too heavy for my hair. Next wash I watered it down a bit and that did the trick. A little goes a long way!

I’ve just bought this product not too long ago. It smells fruity. Holds well. Makes your hair feel smooth and silky. Definitely holds up to its name. All their products are fabulous. I also noticed when I use these products my hair actually is healthier and grows more. The price is perfect for this product. It only takes a little to use each time so it will last you for awhile

I love many Mielle products. However, this particular one is not good for my hair. Perhaps, my hair not dry enough for this. It’s super thick and it says “use liberal amount”. There may be a learning curve but my hair feels like a wet gunky mess. The smell is strong but not unpleasant. I use with the mousse as is directed. I will try less of the product and see if that helps. So far, it’s a no for me.i have 3A hair.

Usually when people say they love the smell of something, it gives me a migrane, so I like to try stuff people don't like. So... this stuff smells like lemon citronella and I don't hate it. I pair it with my favorite curl jelly and my 2c/3a ginger curls POP. Running it thru my hair, it didn't feel like there was any product on and didn't weigh it down at all.

I bought it for my daughter when it was on sale, and it smells so good and helps with detangling. She has 4c hair and uses this to moisturize and then heart protectant and then blow dries, works AMAZING

This product stinks. Smells like cat pee. I have 4A hair pattern and was initially turned off by the smell but decided to give it a try because I like some of the other product by Mielle. BIG MISTAKE!! I used it and smelled until I washed it out 6 days later. It is moisturizing, a little too moisturizing. My hands were always left with oil residue everytime I touched my hair. If I didn't have any hand cream near me I just had to run my hands through my hair. Another thing I didn't like about this product is that I had my hair up in a very loose pony for 2 days and when I let it loose it smelled like an old rag and cat piss. 🐈 As a licensed cosmetologist and educator in a beauty school, I can only imagine the damage that is being done to my hair with this product.. Also, my husband could smell me when I came into the the room. Thats pretty bad. I wouldn't recomemd this product.
