Wow, fantastic! The nest tings we have ever purchased or used.They are heavier than all other tongs we have used because they are made of a thick high quality stainless steel, the tips are very well covered with soft material (I assume silicone) which is superior to the other tongs (many different ones we have used), so they world very well.This is a large tong so measure your existing tongs to see if you need one this big (we use it mostly for large heavy items like flipping steaks and chicken) or if you need a smaller one our both.Highly recommended, this is a lifetime purchase because of its heavy duty construction so it will save you money in the long run.

My old no-name tongs broke so I decided to upgrade to a higher quality utensil. These Misen tongs are really well made and in the “professional” category of kitchen tongs. Heavy duty construction and you can feel the heft when you pick them up. As some other reviewers commented these are heavier than regular consumer tongs and I’m sure they will last for many years. The silocone tips have scalloped edges that makes it easier to pick up and grip whatever your cooking. Another benefit I discovered is the silicone tips are easier to clean than stainless steel tips. Overall I would rate these tongs excellent.

Just received my misen tongs and I’m very happy with it! I can tell that these were designed very well. Huge upgrade from the current ones I have today. The tongs are slightly heavier than the current pair I have but they have a very sturdy feel. The silicone helps a lot with the grip which was very important for me as I usually use tongs to cook steak, etc. These tongs have the locking mechanism making it very easy to keep in the kitchen. Love the blue color! Great buy

Very high quality, but even the smaller one was bulky and heavy. Too much so in my opinion, so I returned.

These are far and away the best tongs I have ever had. You will notice the difference as soon as you take them from the box. They are much heavier than any others. Spend the $. They're worth it.

Very well constructed and heavier than I anticipated. Just purchased recently but am very pleased with them. They do their job and I'm expecting them to last quite a long time.

I am really loving Misen products. I have the pairing knife that is a favorite in our household. I had to buy another knife so we could both use while cooking. I wanted to try some additional products so I figured I would give these tongs a try. Love that these come in the gray to match the knives I already have. The tongs feel strong and sturdy and I love how wide they open. Easy to use, great grip- solid pair of tongs, I would recommend.

The pair I received was misaligned, and had uneven tension as it opened and closed, making it jerky. The overall tension was also very high, making it fatiguing to open and close. To make matters worse, when I opted to return it to Amazon, it turns out that certain items can't be returned at the usual location I go to (a desk inside whole foods) and instead must either be mailed back or instead taken to a much smaller selection of drop off locations. So even if you might want to risk trying it, I wouldn't recommend it, since it's a nuisance to even return it.
