I like the weight of the piece. It does look like it is one of many being produced. The lion is supposed to fend off the evil spirits. I have the piece outdoors in an opening atop the pillar in the front of my house to prevent the birds from making a nest in the space.

I ordered a few of these on a whim as I was looking to make some awards for athletes I coach(the school Is the Lions) I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. They are solid brass and look great! Will order again next year!

Its so cute! I am a fellow Leo therefore I wanted to include something in my living room that represented that. Its a bit pricy but totally worth it because the material is really good and it is heavy. The outlining of the lion is perfect you can even tell it is a boy lol
