HunterFan Company, 59235, 54 inch Chronicle Matte Black Indoor / Outdoor Ceiling Fan and Wall Control

Bought this for two reasons, the industrial look and the Hunter fan quality. Super quiet fan, love how it completes the look of our corn crib turned gazebo! And creates just the perfect amount of air movement that we we were looking for. Love this fan!

We bought this fan for our house and love it. It looks great and moves more air than our previous fans. We purchased a remote control kit to replace the wall mount switch! Great fan!

SImplistic industrial styling. Wished they had remote control.

Bought this fan in February 2021. Really like the thin profile, quiet, great air movement in the living room. Fan stopped working September 2022. Motor failure as it only hummed when turned on. Called Hunter on a Tuesday, verified purchase, and had a new fan on Saturday at no cost due to the lifetime limited warranty on the motor. I bought Hunter because of their reputation and they lived up to my expectations. Thanks Hunter!

Many people are complaining about the noise and not mentioning the very best part of this fan! The POWER. If you put this bad boy to the max, there’s literal wind movement in the room. It’s glorious! And also excessive in most situations. Keeping the fan on medium to med-high elicits a normal amount of ceiling fan noise. At full speed it’s still perfectly fine. Yes you can hear a fan moving, but there is not metal sound or clanking or anything. It’s the sound of air movement. And you can’t really quiet that.I have two and I am ordering 2 more for my 3 seasons room. There’s no other fan with this slight industrial look in this matte black finish, in this price point.

Update*** 13 months later it is rusted and stopped working. Utter junk.I bought because it aesthetically looked good. The quality is low end. The fan wobbles and makes noise due to the wobble. It has nothing to do with installation… I t’s the way the fan is designed to move a little within its ball and socket since it’s an outdoor fan. Its how it withstands wind elements. But that ability to move makes a noise due to the materials they used for the “joint”.The second complaint is the on/off/speed control switch. It’s a turn knob and terribly cheap looking. Didn’t come with a switch plate cover and that size doesn’t exists.

Ordered this for a screened porch we’re building. We like the way the fan looks, but we’re very disappointed that, upon having the fan and wall-mounted control switch installed, we found the switch didn’t work on the lowest speed setting. So, not wanting a two-speed fan, I ordered a replacement wall switch from Hunter. I expect better quality from Hunter.

Llevan poco uso pero se ven bien y de buena calidad

Se ve muy bien y funciona perfectamente. Se ve moderno y está funcional. El único detalle es que las aspas son de madera (pensé que era metálico).

El modelo llego sin tapa , lo que hice es comprar una y instalarla

Poca velocidad

El ventilador está de lujo, lo quería para que aguante la humedad de mi porche, al ser un techo bajo utilice un tubo de 2 pulgadas que tenia de otro hunter y quedo muy bien.
