Can you attach it to the ceiling where there’s no recessed lighting fixture? Are you able to add a cord to the center piece and use it as a plug in?

I suppose an electrician could for sure! I installed it to the ceiling light in the room I have specially decorated for my grankids…it’s soooo fun!!

Got any recommendations for figuring out spacing of the wire holders?

Play with the “arms” to figure out how you would like for it to look….install one…then find the one exactly across from it and install as a continuous line from the first….and so on
