Took about an hour to put together but easy enough to do with the well labeled instructions. They provided extra hardware which was nice and we had no issues with screw holes lining up at all. Hung it up and I loved it so much I ordered another one immediately! Comfortable and looks so cute! We sat on it all evening! Would definitely recommend!Updated with a picture of both swings. Three months later and still enjoy them just as much!

This is a great swing, comfortable and sturdy. My husband is very good at diy so he had no trouble putting it together. It's true that the cross pieces are cut a little too small but you can still fit them and they provide strong support. We stained it and it looks awesome.

I put this swing together in about two hours. Now I love to assemble things, so it was fun to put together. One thing I wanted to commend this company on is that there was an extra bolt, screw, washer for every piece. I noticed that and I really appreciated it! I have run into a problem with other products not having enough parts. It looks great and I can swing with my grandchildren now!

The Chinese cedar, being soft like all cedars, was flawless, and every piece fit snugly, as it should. The finished product looks fantastic with its natural color, which I protected with a healthy coating of water seal. The only flaw was with the hardware. Someone miscalculated how long of a bolt was needed to be to penetrate through some of the pieces to secure them ... about 1/2 inch on about 8 of them ... so I had to substitute bolts of my own. Unfortunately, they weren't black oxide, so they look a little out of place. I also had to add 4 bolts 5/16 inch by 1-1/2 inch for the brackets at the bottom front of each arm to anchor the chain, because no combination of bolts supplied would do the job. They're made with three holes, the first two designed to secure the arm to the seat, so it was a simple matter to secure the brackets using what would have been the last of three holes first, and drilling two more holes on each side. Fortunately, they were black oxide, so they blend in quite nicely. Over all, and despite these minor glitches, I am thoroughly pleased with this product.

One small issue with the directions but easy to assemble and very well made. Should last for a long time.
