msi VGA Graphic Cards RX 580 Gaming X 8G

Love it, Awesome card and design. The card supports 4k on 1080p monitor with super virtual resolution. Works really fast on pcie 3.0 16x slot but feels slow on pcie 3.0 8x slot. Supports alot of games with max setting and smooth play. Driver install was easy, it detected the card instantly and installed the drivers without issue. You can over clock the card more then it already. Current speed are gpu clock @1380 and memory clock @ 2000. These were checked with gpu-z. This graphic card takes 8 pin connector. Pictures explain more then words. Fan very quite and temperature is never above 32c on idle. I personally bought this card to try and match my dream dragon build pc that I trying to build. It has a dragon on back and matched the color scheme of my x99a gaming ack motherboard. If you can get this card below $400 or $300 it a must have. The only downside is I wish I bought 2 instead of one at Micro Center before they sold out and prices sky rocketed.

Where to begin? Let’s start off with this Card is awesome!!!! I had to wait for this card to get back in stock and it was well worth the wait. I recently built a new computer geared towards gaming, video editing and photo editing. I haven’t had much time to really put it through it’s paces yet but so far all the games I’ve played with it look incredible!!! (GTA V, Star Trek Online and Arma 3) my computer was fast before I installed the card but now with this card installed it’s been given. Turbo boost now that the processor doesn’t have to process the graphic on top of everything else. It almost feels like things load before I even click on them it’s so fast even web pages are faster now. I can not recommend this card highly enough. On top of all that it’s nice to be able to set the RGB color to match the rest of my build. If you’re able to pick up this card waot!!

This came in a box but packaged in a bag no original box. When I took it out of the bag it was dirty and looked used. Nether the less I installed it but it didn’t work at all. Should have known better. Will be contacting for a refund.

Now this is the SAME chip as the RX 480- just a better tweaked version. Runs quiet-- never hit 70c Here are some performance benchmarks Average FPS ( @ 1080 on High/Ultra) Far Cry Primal 64 Rise of The Tomb Raider 80 Metro: Last Light 51 Shadow of Mordor 100+ GTA 5 78 Witcher 3 69 (Hairworks off) If your only gaming at 1080p this is a great GPU for the price! ($250) However if you're looking to do VR I'd suggest going with a 1060 6gb as I have tested both with the Vive and the RX 480 did give me some missed frame rates here & there.

description said "New" So i thought it will come with a box, It never came with a box but it looks new and it recognizes it as rx 580. Only thing is that rx 580s are heat hungry so you might have to down clock it so reduce heat, other than being over heat and no box, Ig it's fine

Bought the card from amazon warehouse. I guess they sell stuff that people return, but that's to be expected. I suppose the previous owner didn't like the "coil whine" under load, but I can live with that. Also the card doesn't have fuses (or circuit breakers) in the +12 line so use good a PSU. The VRM's are cooled with a plate shared also with the memory chips, it's a very basic design - other brands use radiators on those elements.

Comment Updated: So far I have only used it to play Arkham Knight at 1080p at the highest settings, and when I turn VSync off, I get 90 frames a second! That is pretty unreal. I am however looking towards being able to use this for rendering in Maya with a GPU Renderer plugin like V-Ray, as well as animating characters in Maya. I did try out rendering with V-Ray on the GPU and it totally skipped some of the geometry in my scene. There is something really finicky about OpenCL rendering with V-Ray on Radeon cards.The professional WX Radeon cards cost more, and are not as powerful either! The only good thing about them is the support you'd get with them. But my advice is not to mess too much with overclocking. I tried that with After Burner, and the Unigen frame rates wen from 60 plus to like 12 frames a second. So a bad overclock could be fatal. Unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Cons: I took one star off due to the artificially high price of this graphics card. They should really be selling this for at least 100 dollars less than the current 340 dollar as of 10/24/2017. I got it for 269.99 and took advantage of the Amazon Prime credit card discount too. Otherwise this is NOT worth 340 plus tax. You might as well spend another 50 bucks and get a GTX 1070 instead. These a-hole miners should stop buying these in bulk, and let people use them for what they are designed for. Also this card needs some serious tweaking to use for things like 3d rendering. OpenCL support is not as good as Nvidia's CUDA API and can be a headache.

It was very good for 200$ cad no tax, was used but pretty much is new. Works fine, but at higher usage, and highest graphics settings on even most demanding games (which it runs well) it will get hot, and you will need to raise fan levels and they are good but incredibly loud.

Best graphic card though costier due to many reasons like GST, import duty and mining.
