I was very glad I read all the reviews before building this item. As everyone had mentioned the challenges with assembly, myself (50 year old male) and my daughter (11) spent a long and calm time firstly checking everything was there (it was) and secondly, planning the actual assembly section by section (which was wise). As a result, we had no pieces over and none missing, as well as a sturdy BBQ which we've used three times already since purchase. There were a couple of issues - like some others, the ignitor wasn't working but the seller shipped a replacement so that was resolved. Also, as others experienced, there were a couple of dents and a small but noticeable scratch - the seller very kindly offered a small but appreciated partial refund to account for that, given that I really was not keen to take the completed product apart and build a whole new one! As a committed charcoal bbq'er, I have always sworn I would never, never, EVER, go gas. Now that I have, I'm wowed by the convenience, but still miss the fun! The ability to control the heat level is really good though. Gas cylinder refill agreements though - that's a *whole* new world of pain! Thanks Dellonda - here's to many happy years of using this great product.

I got the two-burner version. It's a bit of a challenge to assemble, though we got there eventually. It failed to ignite on first use - but it turns out that Dellonda's customer service is second to none. I was offered a entire replacement barbecue, but rather than disassemble one unit and then assemble another one, I suggested Dellonda forward a new igniter to see if that might work and, yes, it did. The entire unit itself isn't as posh as a Weber, but it will do the job - indeed, I found that it heats up faster - and hotter - than the Weber that I've used in the past. A good unit in terms of value for money.

The assembly design was not good. Very difficult especially for san ,88 year old

Product is a bit of a nightmare to put together. The holes for screws are far from perfectly aligned. Also, a few of the parts were bent. Nothing major as I managed to sort them. Must have been damaged at the factory, as the box was intact. Not great quality control. Took me over 2 hours, and I’m fairly handy. Anyway, once up it looks decent and fairly sturdy. I’m yet to use it

When we first bought this barbecue, it arrived with a part missing. Fortunately, we were able to adapt. It’s very tricky, time consuming and frustrating to assemble. Eventually, we were able to put it together. In the end, It was well worth the effort. The Dellonda 2 Burner Gas BBQ, did what we were hoping it would do, light up quickly and barbecue the food. It barbecues to perfection. The food cooks evenly and is simply delicious. All those frustrating hours of trying to put it together, was well worth it. We recommend this barbecue, but not for those with little patience.

This is the worst bbq I have ever tried to assemble the format describing the assembly looks like it's been drawn by a five year old very poor I my opinion very hard to follow

I bought this barbecue as a Christmas present for my son and he only opened it a month ago. Sadly there was a part missing holding the drip tray. It was well outside the warranty time offered but they took me at my word and immediately sent the missing part direct to my son. Sounds like what should be normal customer service but regrettably many companies talk about customer service but do not practice it. Dellonda clearly practice it. The product itself is great and does the job intended very well. It is good value and the current worldwide shortage of gas bottles is the only issue but we thankfully had a spare gas bottle. Well done Dellonda and thank you again.

We originally ordered a George Foreman BBQ from Robert Dyas. We had waited 3 weeks only to be told it was then out of stock. We got a refund. I looked on Amazon for an alternate, and decided to try this relatively new British Company. The BBQ arrived well within the time promised. It came flat packed. Assembly was reasonably straightforward taking about 2 hours. The only challenge was the drip tray supporting rods, but worked it out eventually. Love the look of it. However, slightly annoyed it came with a dented lid which sits slightly off Centre. Am in correspondence with Dellonda who have replied within minutes to offer a cash refund which I feel is fair in the circumstances. As such, have given 4 star review.
