“Hey Lady - you really looked great … but what are those black specks on your chest?” said my wedding date about my outfit and accessories for the evening.Panicking I ran to the bathroom…. my anxiety thinking I am breaking out from something or even worse!? (Knowing my luck after 15 months of global pandemic activities of doing little socially)To my relief - my brand new Amazon jewelry set was just molting all over my neck after just a few hours of wear and a slight glisten of sweat. (See pictures)Would I buy again? Like a 3 out of 10 - looked nice, didn’t last long. You get what you pay for.

I was wanting a decent chunky set of costume beads, not a horrible chemical smell. Though I opened the packet and left them to sit in a ventilated (unfrequented!) area, 2 weeks later they still smell *strongly* of chemicals- like cheap nail polish. While I am pretty sensitive to smells, 2 weeks shpuld have nern more than enough to offgas. Trying a soak in mild soap and warm water and rinse in dilute vinegar before passing on to my school's drama department for costumes.

Pretty but it arrived with one of the strings broken/detached. It was a simple fix but I didn't have any pliers and more importantly when you buy something you don't want to have to work on it before you wear it. Secondly, it stunk to high heaven...smelled just like fresh finger nail polish, they even had a fragrance package in there to mask the smell. Finally, after wearing for a day I had faint red dots on my wrist and chest that corresponded exactly to the beads on the necklace and bracelet. Luckily, my white top was low enough that the beads didn't bleed on to it. That doesn't seem healthy especially when viewed together with the smell. It's decent looking, a good size, and cheap but it is up to you whether that outweighs its many drawbacks.

I really wanted to love these! I read the reviews, some said the color was off, but I took my chances... I should have listened. The red was like shiny and lacquered,it felt very goddy compared to what in was looking for and what the picture showed I'd receive.

It was absolutely beautiful when put on with my outfit. Unfortunately, my sensitive skin broke out and itched where the necklace touched my neck. When I took off the bracelet, my wrist was irritated Where the earrings dangled and touched my neck, I became itchy and irritated. I have to send it back.
