Great Ballast For The Price
So far, so good. Been using it every day for the past 60 days and haven’t had any issues yet. Cool and quiet. Strikes MH bulbs without issues. I haven’t used for HPS yet and I’ll update this review once I do.

Pick a different brand
This appears to be a piece of junk. Less than two months and it crapped out. Fuse does not appear to be replaceable

IPower stinks
Bought a 600 watt ballast and 4 1000 watt ballasts.....ALL toast before a year. Literally saw smoke and sparks. Only bulb to EVER blow on me was an IPower 600 watt HPS on a 600 watt IPower ballast, before the ballast failed. I run Hydrofarm magnetic(20 plus years old, retired) ballasts, Galaxy DE ballasts, NextGen, etc. I'm fortunate to be able to afford Hortilux and higher ended items, but I try some low end items for viable options. These things are the cheap shoes from Kmart, back in the day, that just start falling apart.....or catching fire. Never had a problem with Rf interference, but I would look a couple steps up to an option that might stretch your budget but be more worry free/ consistent in operation. There's a legitimate reason those new shoes cost $20 and it isn't because they invested in Research and Development. Most likely, they found expired patents, cut costs for production and are selling you a POS.
