What amperage is this?

The answer is 27W or 12V or 4A, which ever metric you want to go by. The previous person to answer this question is an idiot and I apologise for his stupidity. Going by his logic if I plug this hub into my 1200W computer, then it will be providing over 1000W to each port… which would by the way make it explode. Is the cable detachable so i can use a longer cable? for it to connect

Yes. The cable is separate. It has a USB A connector on both ends. This is not such a common cable, but they are available. You could always use a straight USB A male to female extender to get extra length.

Where can i get the power supply adoptor?

Amazon (or other) sites sell them, just check the details to ensure correct power supply. You don't want to fry any of your other USB gadgets. 3 pin units rather than any other options are best.

Can it be secured to a late 2014 / 27” iMac as it has a curved back. I am concerned it will not attach / grip without slipping off?

It is not something I would recommend. I'm not sure of the curvature but it is designed to fit against something flat that can be relatively tight. The issue with the iMac is that you're more than likely going to scratch or dent the aluminium frame by trying to fit this to it.
