Q: Is this ok on my 2015 vw golf?

BlueDEF will work in any vehicle that has an SCR system. There is only one formula and certification for DEF which applies to all vehicles. BlueDEF is ISO 22241 (which includes all four sub standards 1-4) and API certified, which is the only requirement for use in a Volkswagen vehicle.

Q: Why is this more than 4 times as expensive than retail list price?

It must be the store selling it. Ask them.

Q: Do you need a funnel to add the fluid from the gallon size container?

If you can get your hands on a nozzle that comes with the 2.5 gallon. It will fit on the one gallon jug. I just bought a one gallon and found a used 2.5 gallon jug at a gas station garage can and screwed right on and put it in my def tank. Just make sure the nozzle is clean.

Q: Will this work for 2016 Mercedes Sprinter?

Yes I had a 2016 Winnebago built on a 3500 sprinter chassis and used it. I now have a 2018 Thor built on a 3500 sprinter chassis and use it all the time.
