IMS Precision shower screen for the Cimbali CI 200 IM

This fits the Gaggia Classic but only if you have the after market holding plate from BIT

The media could not be loaded. The IMS shower screens are the best, but I don't see much of a difference when comparing it to my stock MiiCoffee shower screen that came with the machine.

I wasn’t getting well distributed flow from the stock shower screen on my older model Ascaso Dream V3. After switching to this, it was significantly worse. However, I layered / doubled the shower screens on top of one another and now it’s pretty well perfect. But that’s weird and shouldn’t be necessary, so minus 1 star nonetheless.

I replaced the standard shower screen on my EC-155 with this IMS one and it fit without issue. The screen does not go inside of the o-ring like the original does but all you have to do is tighten the mounting screw fully and everything works just the same.I did not use this with the original, pressurized portafilter so I would not recommend this unless you switch to a 51mm bottomless portafilter.I noticed a vastly improved pour through my bottomless portafilter with one smooth stream during extraction and a very even bed of coffee grounds forming a neat puck at the end. With the larger portafilter you can use the right amount of coffee for a shot, as well.You're not going to pull shots like your man-bunned-barista but you will certainly get more consistent results. This means you can focus on dosing and grind size rather than whether or not your getting consistent extraction through your grounds during the pull.

Uneven water distribution. Disappointing performance

Lovely upgrade for my Profitec Go. . .no more coffee grounds getting stuck in the shower screen. . .
