Ricola Swiss Herb Lozenges Sugarfree Soothing Great Tasting 45G x 8 Flavour

The taste is good and they last long and definitely soothe the throat, but I was surprised to see aspertame on the ingredients which is an artificial sweetener. With all the labeling about 'natural' and the availability of natural sugar substitutes this seems inconsistent with what I thought of the Riccola brand. Most sugar-free products I buy clearly show on the front what they use to substitute sugar especially when it's artificial. I will definitely look more closely at the ingredients in future. Disappointing because it is hard to find sugar-free throat lozenges, now I have one less brand to choose from. I hope they change this in future

First came upon these boxed Ricolas when in Florence this past spring 2022. Can't get this type of package where I live. Just flip open the lid, shake out a lozenge. No struggling with stuck on paper. And, even though these are sugar free they do not have the artificial sweetener taste that I dislike.

I have eaten Recola throat drops before so I was expecting 8 bags of throat drops, with each drop wrapped. But that's not how they came, instead there 8 small boxes with 18 drops in each box and they aren't wrapped. So I will have to put into a small zip bag to carry in my purse.

I’m diabetic, so these sugar-free cough drops were a God-Send! I would never have know these are sugar-free. I received 9 boxes instead of the 8 that were advertised, a nice surprise! Each box has 18 unwrapped drops. The box is about the size of a credit card and 1/2” thick. The price per drop works out to about the same as the bags.

Be aware that these lozenges were not manufactured or packaged in the United States. The packages are the size of cigarette packs and the lozenges are small and not individually wrapped as lozenges packaged in the US are. Based on the price, I was expecting larger packages and larger lozenges.
