Too small. The third party never responded to my message. I ended up giving it to a 5 year old. I ordered a large,waste of money.

I think these are super cute and a novel birthday gift idea for the 6-12 year old girl set. It is a fun thing for little girls who have everything. The fabric seems nice and is soft. The turquoise color of this is as expected--sort of variegated shades that are reminiscent of sea foamy ocean water. Pretty. Mine had a few loose strings of yarn, but they were not attached, so easy to just pull off and toss without unraveling anything. The 8 year old recipient fit in this perfectly and liked it.It arrives in a vacuum-packed plastic bag with all the air sucked out of it, so to give as a gift, you'll have to cut open the packaging, shake it out, and re-fold it. The zip pouch and "gift bag" this arrived with were kind of tacky looking and seemed like they came from China, so I did not use them. I just folded it up and put it in a small shirt box and gift-wrapped it. I would buy this again to give this as a gift or for my own daughter. Cute and worth it.

This is an adorable small version of the knit mermaid tails that I cannot get enough of! I sent this to a little girl as a surprise gift- we'll see if she can guess that it's from a certain mermaid-obsessed secret auntie :)The tail is indeed much shorter than most, and is not appropriate for tall adults. If you're a really short woman, you could get away with it as a lap blanket rather than a full-length one.Pros:-Contrast stitching to make it have a more mermaid feel at the waist, tail, and then fins.-Close knit to keep you warmer than other mermaid blankets-Colors flecked throughout the knit for color depth-Reasonably priced for a kid's blanketCons:-Only suitable for shorter peopleI want to add that the knit in the scale area isn't as cool as some other blankets, but it definitely compensates in savings. This blanket is really appropriately priced for a kid's blanket, because they'll grow out of it and then what? I am disappointed it isn't eligible for Amazon prime, and I paid more for shipping than expected.

This is a cute little blanket for any mermaid lover. It's child sized, so I'd recommend it for ages 9 and younger. My daughter likes it, it is soft and comfortable against your skin (it doesn't itch). It is also easy to clean. I washed in cold water and let it air dry. Is is cute, but you have to lay it out just so, if you really want to look like a mermaid. It isn't stiff, which makes a great blanket, but the shape doesn't hold. We got the purple/pink tail. The pink is muted and a brighter purple is woven in with the pink the overall color is similar to the picture. Overall, we are really happy with this little blanket. It's cute and fun and it keeps your toes warm on a cold nights.

I love this Mermaid blanket. It’s tough and durable to use, while the mermaid design makes it still nice to look at. I have purchased other blankets on Amazon before and they have let me down quality and durability wise. This Mermaid blanket has surpassed my expectations and I am thoroughly impressed with it. I purchased this mermaid tail blanket for my 10-year old daughter... she loves it! It is made of a beautiful purple colored crochet knit yarn. It is soft and cozy, I do wish I it was a little longer as she is growing fast and it will not cover her body for long. It's perfect for covering her legs, which is perfect in the car... I like to keep the car rides cool. This mermaid tail is of high quality and should last a long time. I am very pleased with this purchase and I am happy to give it a five star rating!
