Little Green Frog Chunky Lift-a-Flap Board Book (Babies Love) Board book – Lift the flap, March 15, 2016

I bought this as a gift for a friend’s’ baby’s first birthday party. I was impressed by the beautifully detailed and colorful illustrations. The book also has some good educational value to it. I am ordering this one again for my own kids!

Perfect for my grandson, colorful and he loved it.

The media could not be loaded. I have a 2 year old son who is obsessed with frogs and prefers running around to sitting down to read a book. He loves this book because he can interact by pulling the flaps open on every page and look for the frog along with all the other animals in the story. He will actually sit and listen, and always asks for it again, again, again.It’s a short and simple story, best for 1-2 year olds.

I bought this for my 10 month old after she ripped the paper flap out of a different book. This book is very sturdy and has a cute rhyme & rhythm while introducing different pond animals. My husband wishes there was more plot but in my opinion it's a book for babies and is entertaining enough as it is. My daughter loves opening the flaps and I'm not worried at all that it will rip. I enjoy reading this to her about ten times a day!

This is a cute little book that I bought for my 14 month old who is obsessed with lift a flap books. I choose this because it said it was more durable, which the flaps are, they are very thick and sturdy. But the flaps are very easy to rip off of the book, which my son proved the first time we read this book. So if you can keep your kid from tearing the flaps off, it's a great book!

We have several of these books. It started when someone gave us the one about colors and we have now added a few more to the collection - this one is a story about a little frog and the things he encounters on his adventure. I like this book because it mostly rhymes which lets me use some inflection for my baby to emphasize the storyline. We also (try to) talk about what else is on the pages. My baby is 1 year old and she she LOVES the chunky flaps on this book and gets excited just seeing this book and some of her others because she knows she will be able to open and close the various flap pages. This book is a thicker cardboard then some of her other books so I don't have to worry about her ripping the flaps apart (some of her books are paper flaps and she gets a little too excited and rips the flap off- she is 1). I would definitely recommend this book, the colors book and the bee book. the books are smallish so check the dimensions if you think it is a full sized book.
