I'm a man whose hair really sticks up on the sides and I use Got2B Glued to hold it down. It works and it's a daily part of my routine. Yes, your hair will be crunchy but it doesn't look crunchy, and it REALLY holds. My friend's daughter uses it for dance competitions as her hair cannot move during performances. It washes out without effort and can last up to three days. Nothing else I've tried can hold my hair down so it's Got2B or shaving the sides of my hair. I chose Got2B.
