HaWare 4-Piece 18/8 Stainless Steel Plates, 10 Inch Dinner Dishes for Kids

I was very surprised at how HEAVY these plates are, wow!! I never used stainless steel plates before and was worried that they would bend once hot food is placed on them. Oh no! They are very sturdy and won’t bend. You will feel a hot dish underneath with your hands though when camping, for example. When having oily fingers, they can leave oily marks on the plates. However, soapy water takes those stains right off. The edge could be a bit higher to contain the food (we often hold the plates in our laps when camping) but then they look like dog bowls so these are good. They are large enough to serve dinner on them. They are a bit too big to serve dessert on them. For backpacking I think these would be a bit too heavy to carry. Overall I am Very happy with the quality!

These are fantastic! Perfect size and very durable. They are nice and thick and don’t get hot when you put food on the plate. They work in the dishwasher great too. Plus my kids think they are cool, so that’s a plus. Nice way of cutting more plastic out of their daily life

I've had these for a little over a year and they have held up great! I am slowly adding more stainless steel dinnerware and this is the product that got me started. They are sturdy and a great alternative to plastic for my kids, and myself. I wash them in the dishwasher and they always come out looking nice.

Nice size I think 10 inch plates. Nice look. They do not look cheap at all. They are also light weight. Very good buy as long as they hold up. The grade of stainless steel will reveal itself over time. Nevertheless they are super cool. Should last a long time and no chance of chipping or breaking like porcelain. And much cooler than plastic. Never knew about stainless steel plates. I'm buying more

Exactly what I wanted

I was on the search for something large enough to feed my dogs their raw food. This turned out to be the best deal, it’s definitely large enough to hold a pound of food and a lot easier to clean than a bowl. They wash perfectly in the dishwasher too. I didn’t think I’d need 4 plates, but it works out perfectly to swap them in between wash days. Stainless is the way to go for sanitary purposes and more affordable than extra large dog bowls.
