I have had this drill for a couple of years and it works really well. It is very simple to use for someone who has no experience. I use it to grind down my toenails since they had gotten very thick and yellowish. With this drill and the included drill bits I have been able to thin my nails down to normal and that makes the antifungal treatment work better so I have normal looking toenails. I was starting to think that was not possible before using this product. I love it!

It works pretty good, occasionally it will not turn on though. I've used it probably 10 times and had issues with it powering on 3 times, it did eventually turn on.. just not immediately. You're getting what you pay for here, nothing more. The entire thing is VERY light weight so sometimes the base with the speed control moves around instead of the spiral cord stretching out like I feel it should.

This is the 3rd nail drill I’ve owned over the years. First one was professional grade & lasted 10 years. Next I bought I cordless & battery never lasted long enough to sand off all 10 fingers of gel. Was looking for something in between those two and chose this one. The unit is light weight. For holding and using it, that is a good thing so your hand doesn’t tire quickly. The base though is also lightweight and moves easily when using. I’m considering some sort of Velcro to attach to my table. Still working on the best solution. It’s simple and no complicated features. If you’re new, the speed adjustment on the unit itself will be great. If you’re used to foot peddle.. it could be a pain. But this is a home unit so shouldn’t deter you from a purchase. You should be happy. A couple times it seemed to want to quit. It “ hesitated” just a fraction of a second. But seems all ok. Price is right for a home unit!

I purchased this nail drill because of the wonderful reviews. I use polygel. The drill I’ve had for 11 years was starting to go out, and the bit size changed at some point, so the new bits I ordered did not fit properly. I did not want to spend a huge amount of money on a drill, especially since the one I had lasted me so long and it was about the same price as this one. Before I used acrylics. So, I do have experience using a nail drill. Please keep in mind I have a nail drill that I gave about the same amount of money for 11 years ago, and was wonderful. There are only two pros to this machine, In my opinion: It did a great job at giving a smooth finish. And the sanding belts that came with it are fantastic. The cons are: Immediately when I turned it on, even on the lowest setting (which is not what I would consider low) the vibration in this is absolutely terrible. My hand was tingling from the vibration by the time I finished my first nail. Also, this drill is SO LOUD. It is not quiet at all, even the lowest setting, which is not low enough. Normally I like to sit and watch a movie with my family while I do my mani-pedi, and it would be impossible to do that with this drill. It’s like this drill goes from medium-high, straight to high, straight to a plane taking off the runway high. It is very lightweight, and the handheld piece is made of very cheap plastic that is just not heavy enough for the power this little machine kicks off. It get too hot way too fast, but that’s because it is so powerful, and does not have a low enough setting. All of that being said this machine is not a good machine for beginners, and is not worth the money. It’s okay to have a powerful machine for beginners, but it needs to be built with a lower setting capability. There are way too many cons to this product. I have never had to send an amazon product back, but I will be sending this one back. It gets 3 stars because it works, it does the job, and the awesome pieces that it comes with.

I change my polish a lot and always use a gel o coat with suv light I also got on amazon. I got tired of going in and paying for simple polish changes between my fills so I got this. Now I can simply and quickly file off the gel polish and reapply my new color and a fresh gel top coat and go! Free! Lol. It’s super easy to use with multiple power levels. You can have it go slow or really fast. Comes with multiple head changes. There’s a head for serious heavy filing, top coat buffing finer polisher, and even a tiny one for the cuticle area and a super tiny one for doing under the nail. The main large filer comes with 3 bags of files that go on the top. It’s a seriously powerful little machine and super light and easy. I love it!

This nail drill is amazing. Easy to use, definitely for beginners. The base is a lot smaller then I though. (Not the size of salons) but but half the size. Witch is better for space saving!! It’s powerful too! I used on the lowest setting with great results. My kids allowed me to use it to trim their nails. My one son has autism and usually when it comes to nail cutting, he gets emotional. He actually enjoyed it. My dog also allowed me to trim his nails with it. Was a bit nervous at first. Til I brought out the treats!! So universal when it comes to trimming! Also there’s a switch that makes the tip rotate right/left. Very convenient when doing your own nails. I definitely recommend this product!

It mentioned that the speed is adjustable but it’s not, very bad quality product. Do not get this drill it’s a waste of money

This nail drill was an absolute life changer for me! I had bought a handheld (cordless) one when nail salons had closed originally, to help me keep up with my nails. But it would always die so quickly, it wasn’t very powerful so it would take way too long to do a new set. But with this baby, filing off old gel and shellac is so quick and easy! There are so many different attachments to use with the drill, and different settings for speed and rotation. So easy to control. It really feels like a salon quality tool. I love the handy little stand for the drill too. Overall it’s highly effective and comes as advertised. I would highly recommend!
