I have no idea whether these work and hope I never have a reason to find out. What I do know is that Vitamatic is an apparently reputable brand and these tablets are manufactured in the USA, so I feel comfortable relying on these if I never need to.For dosage information you should refer to the CDC's recommendations (google "CDC facts about potassium iodide"), but the short version is that if you're told to take them -- and only then -- the recommended dosage is 130 mg daily for adults (anyone at least 18) and for children at least 12 who weigh more than 150 pounds. For children 4-12 (and for those under 12-18 weighing 150 pounds or less) the recommended dosage is 65 mg, or half the "adult" dosage. And in all cases this is "for short-term use only (up to 10 days)" per the label on the bottle. Each tablet in these bottles contains a 65 mg dose, and each bottle contains 60 tablets, so a child would take one tablet a day and an adult two as appropriate, and that means each bottle represents a 10-day supply either for three adults or for two adults and two small children.Another reviewer stated that the listing is misleading because the front says there are 60 capsules in the bottle while the back says there are only 30, but that's not correct. In fact, you can examine both sides of the label here on Amazon, and it clearly says on the back that a bottle contains 30 SERVINGS (not tablets) and that each serving is two tablets, so there's no discrepancy between the front and back: one tells how many tablets are in the bottle and the other identifies the number of adult "servings".Anyway, I hope this information is helpful and that never have reason to take these tablets, but personally I'd rather have them and never need them than need them and not have them.

I have these pills for future need. Seems like a good value for the price

I only purchased this item in to have on hand in case there was a nuclear attack. I really can't comment on it's effectiveness yet. I'll update the review once if I have to test it out someday.

I bought these in early 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine. Wasn't sure if a few nuclear warheads would be set off, and wanted to have these for my wife and I just in case.

I bought these in anticipation for the upcoming nuclear holocaust that Sleepy Joe will bring upon us. Be prepared!

We ordered these out of a super abundance of caution regarding the state of the world. The price seems fair and the product came quickly, as advertised. Hopefully we will just throw them away in a few years time. And if we don’t, we’ll definitely have been glad we ordered them ahead of time.

Expiration date on the bottom of the bottle is quite unclear but to me it certainly doesn't look like 2025. It very much looks like 03/2022, which means the pills had already expired when I ordered them on April, therefore I am sending them back. Other than that, they came earlier than expected, bottle is sealed. Two pills would be needed to get 65mg dosage, as one pill is 32.5g, not 65g as could be understood from the front label.

Fairly expensive but needed so had to be bought. Cost probably reflective of increased demand.
