Works great
Very effective on invasive alligator weed, in or out of the water.

It works
Kills bamboo but it does take a while so don’t expect instant results of your buying this specifically for bamboo. It also kills most brush and small trees. It will kill your grass dead so be careful when applying it. Also wear goggles and exam gloves.

The product and delivery were great. Now I need to see if it kills Tree Of Heaven.
The shipping on this was fast and very safely packaged to avoid rupture and/or leakage. I purchased it after some research to find something that could kill Ailanthus, aka Tree Of Heaven. I have an Ailanthus that established itself among some blueberries in my backyard garden, and despite chopping it down and applying Roundup to the stump, it's regrown suckers every year for the last five years. I carefully read my state's guidelines and restrictions, as well as the label instructions and methods of application, and decided on an injection method. I used a hand-drill and 18-gauge syringes to inject the two current suckers (actually small trees at this point) during the late summer, early fall period recommended. After three days, there seems to be a pronounced wilt to the leaves, and am expecting that they will yellow within the week. Following the instructions, I will leave the suckers intact for a month, then cut and remove them. The benefit of this weed-killer is that it affects the roots with apparently 99% effectiveness, without affecting surrounding plants overmuch, so I'll keep on observing and report back later, but it seems to be working.

Works well to kill bamboo!!
We had an astonishing amount of bamboo in our back yard that we had professionally removed. In order for it to not grow back instantly, we had to spray the heck out of it using this chemical, combined with heavily concentrated Glyphosate in another spraying session. We have only used each of the chemicals one or 2 times in an attempt to scorch the ryzomes underground. So far so good because we haven't seen any bamboo growth back yet at all!!! It appears to work very well, and is easy to spray. It can be expensive depending in how much of it you need to use, but it's worth it!! Make sure to wear proper PPE when applying this chemical and do NOT spray when there's wind!! Make sure you spray at least 2 hours prior to expected rain so the chemicals can soak into the ground without being washed away. It claims to be safe for humans and animals after 48 hours post spraying.

Kills Bamboo dead.
I used 6oz. to a 2 gallon sprayer. I sprayed the leaves of bamboo and at first I thought it wasn't doing anything. At the end of the season the bamboo were wiped out. This really, I was just pulling out the giant dead bamboo stalks and the area is much cleaner Better than anything else I have used, just need patience.

Does not work!
I have been buying this exact product for years from the local store in town for $390 that worked great. I saw this and thought that it was a bargain, so I snatched it up. Well, I am not sure what is going on with this, but it is not working at all. It is the same color, but it is nowhere near as effective. The only thing that I can think of is that it was relabeled, and this is 2 sl instead of 4 sl, or maybe it has been cut somehow. Either way, it doesn't work. A lot of time and money was wasted. I want a refund!

Works
A bit high in my opinion, and slow to act (the latter was expected) but it seems to work well. I'll try it again at the beginning of the next growing season for my fencerows to see if it lasts

Serious long-term vegetation control—use with care
If you’re looking for permanent solutions, this is it. Imazapyr doesn’t mess around—it kills everything down to the root and keeps it dead for the long haul. I used it on invasive blackberry and overgrown fence lines, and weeks later, not a single sprout has returned. Just be careful: it has soil activity, so don’t use near trees, gardens, or anything you want to keep alive. ✅ Extremely effective for tough, woody, or invasive plants ✅ Results visible in 1–2 weeks, lasting months ✅ Great for fence lines, vacant lots, and gravel pads ⛔ Not selective—kills everything, including grass ⛔ Can linger in soil—be mindful near desirable vegetation 🧪 Pro Tip: Mix at about 1–2 oz per gallon with a surfactant for best results. Use a marker dye if you’re covering large areas. If you’re managing land or need an aggressive herbicide, this is pro-grade and powerful. Just respect the label—this stuff is no joke.
