Really happy with the quality of this African black soap. It feels authentic, natural, and much gentler than many harsh soaps. It cleans well without leaving my skin feeling stripped or overly dry. The ingredients feel pure, and it works great for dry or sensitive skin. After regular use, my skin felt smoother and more balanced. The large 1lb size is also a great value and lasts a long time. This is amazing I appreciate it I'm grateful for this I found out years ago that black soap is not black so I'm excited that this soap is offered it made my skin feel clean and there was no extra film on it it always seem to go faster than store-bought soaps but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I would purchase this again it is great for your face is great for your entire body and it's a quality product

This soap has truly changed my skin and scalp for the better! I have very dry and sensitive skin, but I also get a lot of buildup on both my scalp and skin from a mixture of products that I use and just everyday life. And this strips my skin and scalp down to a very clean and smooth surface! It works very well and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a natural and affordable solution to dry scalp and skin! I use this on my scalp because it works best for me! My hair has not been affected by it in a negative way, but I also use it only when I have oily hair. I don’t use it when my hair is fairly clean. I use unscented so there is no scent, but there is a more subtle, natural smell to the bar. Also, to help with longevity! I like to slice the bar into thin, small squares. This helps greatly when preserving the whole bar. I also store it in a dry place in the shower at all times, on a soap saver. I always make sure to use the bar out of the direct shower stream, using lightly damp hands to apply it to a silicone body brush or African soap net sponge, and then make sure to store it back onto the soap saver in a dry area, making sure that the bar isn’t saturated. This will help your soap last a long time, making the price well worth it. One thing I will give caution about, is to not use this product on damaged skin, cuts, razor burns, or anything where there is or could potentially be damaged or irritated skin. It will burn and cause discomfort. And also, I would NOT recommend using the bar directly on your skin, as it can cause minor cuts and irritation due to the natural pieces of plant matter.

It looks so raw but I could tell immediatly how well it treated my skin. I used one of those lather devices and didnt use the soap straight onto my skin but after use my skin felt natural, not too dry or too oily. It really doesnt have much of a smell though

Previously, I used a liquid African black soap. The smell was delightful, and the soap was good. But I was growing concerned about the six empty plastic containers that just went into the environment each year so I decided to try the bar soap. After reading many reviews, I settled on this brand. I chose the single bar because it had next day delivery and I was keen to try it. I cut the bar in half, put 1/2 into the fridge, and started using the other half which is a normal soap bar size. Someone else had noted just how very soft the bar got. And that is correct. When I was using the bath soap. It was dripping globes of soap into the sink. Which is not good for the drainage and it’s a waste of the product. So I purchased one of those wood bar soap, drainer holders, and that now sits in the window of my bathroom. As you can see from the photos once the bar loses the excess water it shrivels down in size. This soap lathers up beautifully, and with my northern European Scottish skin I have had no dry issues – even though my skin is usually a little dry. It leaves my sling squeaky clean, very soft and moisturized. This bar has a very faint smell, it’s nice but not very noticeable. I do slightly miss the fresh smell of my liquid soap but neither I, nor future generations will be looking at my plastic waste floating in the water supply so I’m happy about that. Why did you pick this product vs others?: No bulky plastic. African black soap is great.

Nice clean rinse. Easy to use. Does not leave your skin dry. And most important is real soap.

I love this! It doesn’t leave a residue on your skin like most bad soaps do. I feel super clean after using this. My acne has improved and my skin looks over all very healthy! I’ve been using this for months now and I still have probably 1/3-1/2 of it left. I cut it when I first got it until multiple squares so I could just use a little at a time. I will say though, you need to moisturize as SOON as you dry off because it does feel like it dries you out. But all soaps usually dry you out, so you should always be moisturizing after! There are some small harder particles in it so I always rub the bar on my wash cloth and use the cloth to wash myself with instead of applying the bar of soap directly to my skin. It lathers up REALLY well so a little goes a very long way. I love that it has no odor as well, because I can be very sensitive to odors. I’d say this was WELL WORTH the cost!

I use a pocket exfoliating soap saver, I put my soap in my pouch, and it helped exfoliate your skin and the soap also make your skin so soft. I love the soap..
