It's a red dot, with some extras - but the thing that makes it the winner in my house is that it's rechargeable by USB. No hunting down tiny batteries or changing them out. It's also turned on by sliding the switch, NOT holding down a button. For someone with hypermobility issues, this is a definite plus.When charged, the dot is bright and crisp. The other designs are cute - occasionally my cat will chase the mouse shape if it's close/small, but ultimately prefers the classic dot. I don't know how many times we've charged ours and it's just as good as the day we opened it. In fact, we bought a second so we can have one in the living room and one in the bedroom. This one is MUCH better than the cheap ones available in the pet food aisle at the local store.

The media could not be loaded. It is perfect 🤩 I got it as a fun toy for an older kitty to get her up and playing for some exercise and it does the trick! Even the dogs love it! The size is nice and fits in hand comfortably and isn’t so small that it’s annoying to use it. The weight is also nice, it doesn’t feel cheaply made. The loop is nice and the switch buttons are nice as well and easy to use. I love that it comes with different laser beam shapes and a flash light! Also a black light! So it’s a convenient multi tool!
