Smells strongly of cedar, so if you like that scent, would recommend. Fits nicely inside women’s 8 and men’s 9. For kids size 12 (see photos), only goes in halfway. Other reviews mention issues with chips falling out. So far have not had the problem. There’s a drawstring, which can be knotted tightly to keep everything inside.

Wicks moisture but has no smell of cedar wood. Either some other wood chip was substituted or it’s so old you can’t smell it. Should have a strong cedar smell if new.

These work so well! I have one for all my shoes. I put them in as soon as I take my shoes off. Closet is odor free. Love these!

Good aroma. No problems with the ties coming loose so far

I've been using deodorizing sprays for a while, but sometimes that smell just mixes in instead of eliminating - gross. These seem to be working like a charm. I've been using them almost every day for about 6 months and they're still working. They really don't leave behind any smell, except for the faintest wisp of cedar, which is quite nice. Much better and, I imagine, more environmentally-friendly than the sprays.

I bought these after seeing the same product in an SAS shoe store for twice the price. They keep my often worn shoes, fresh and dry. I highly recommend them.
