These work well, and are more convenient than regular styptic pencils. Very neat and easy to use.

Thought it work like a classic septic pencil, but it doesn’t. There are single use (like match sticks) that you wet and use. Very flimsy match stick that didn’t support the swabbing on the cut. Big bust…. Returned to the classic style

Add some water, apply to area & done. Works great, & these matchstick style ones are great for multi-person usage, compared to a larger stick style which would be better for a single use person regarding hygiene/sanitation.
