I use the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand; this was the addition I needed to complete the collection. After, I shampoo and use conditioner, I rinse and towel dry, then spray the leave in conditioner followed by combing it to detangle. Finally, I proceed with grooming. The product smells good.

I love this product. It smells great and it makes my poodle mix's curls totally adorable after a bath. It is great for making her smell better in between baths as well and makes her fur so soft. I have deducted one star just because i feel like it is crazy expensive. It does last a long time so that's how I felt like I could justify spending so much. I have not found another product that works as well.

I tried this on 3 dogs to get an idea of how I like this and if I want to use it on all of my clients. Smell: The smell is very strong upon spraying the dog out of the bath. At first I hated the smell, but I got used to it and didn't mind it after a while, especially because the smell fades as you blow dry. The baby powder smell is still there once the dog is dry, but its not as strong. I'm not crazy about the smell, but I'd prefer it over a stinky dog smell. I don't know how long the smell lasts, since I send my clients home after they're done. And it's not strong enough to overpower the smell of the perfume I spray at the end of each groom. Drying time: It does seem to help me dry the dogs a bit faster than if I didn't use this product but not by very much. Not sure if this product is even supposed to help with that so I'll take it lol. Conditioning: It did make a huge difference in how the coat felt after using it. In my salon we don't use conditioner for every dog unless they upgrade to a package. I personally believe each dog should get their skin and coat remoisturized since the shampoo strips that. So I bought a few different leave in conditioners to see which one worked the best for the best cost. The reason I'm going for leave in conditioner is it doesn't require 10 minutes (feels like forever) of rinsing in the tub, I can just spray it on, brush it through the coat, wait a couple minutes for it to soak in and do its thing, and then blow dry. It's way more efficient. This conditioner made the coat feel nice and soft and clean. And saved me time from using a conditioner you need to use in the tub that takes way longer to apply and rinse out. Overall I would probably buy this product again, but only in the gallon size as it's much more affordable. But I'm not super crazy about it either. I think the main thing is the smell. It's not bad but it's not for me. The product itself is pretty good though.

So I purchased this because I have a husky who has fur gets very Tangley on his tail, and I am so gentle when brushing him because huskies are highly sensitive breed so the product itself works amazing. However, the smell is a little overwhelming. It smells like an explosion of baby powder over the top baby powder. My husky really didn't like it. It was not a fresh, clean smell however, it did fade rather quickly and air out but it does not smell like a fresh bathed dog in a good sense like they came from the groomer. It's just a very over powerful baby powder smell and it's on the too much side and not enough lingering fresh smell. If they could come up with a better scent, I think they would have a five star winner across-the-board but the product itself works amazing it's just not the smell that's winning points here. Hope this helps.

Purchased to test out as I am always looking for a good leave in conditioners. I never expected this to be so awesome. I use this product daily now and have recommended it to all my clients that have difficulty with undercoat matting and general matting in-between grooms. Best thing about this product is once dry it does not have a lingering smell which allows me to use this on pets whose parents cannot tolerate strong smell and also allows usage of other scents to finish groom. Safe around face as well which in itself is a game changer when comes to matting around muzzle and on ears. Normally, dematting around or near faces is a challenge for any pet but with this it makes it safer and faster to dematt with less fuss. Will be purchasing the gallon next time!
