Perfect for pickleball referees
This is the perfect pickleball referee stopwatch. No bells or whistles. Just three functions in one button: start, stop, reset. It’s a little pricey, but it’s been worth it. I’ve had mine for almost two years and it’s still working great. I’ve recommended it to many other pickleball referees and they’ve been equally happy with theirs.

Simplicity
As a certified Pickleball referee, this timer is exactly what is needed - simple and easy to use - for the timing needs of refereeing matches.

Works better than I hoped
I know it's not the intended use, but I use it as a backup timer to my dive computer since I'm used to diving off tables and wanted an extra layer of reliability. I have taken this timer down as deep as ~70' (~21m) several times in sometimes silty salt water and it has worked flawlessly. Its time matched my computer with enough accuracy for me to be reasonably sure it's reliable. Nine hours so far and it still functions.Anytime I see "water resistant" I don't trust the depth attached to it, but this timer may actually be close. I have some deeper dives planned and will update this with the results when I get around to it. I can't get it down to 50m, but perhaps 132'/ 40m sometime this year.

Great purpose-built, easy to use timer
This is a great timer for intense, solo exercise - sprints, laps in the pool, the sort of thing where the inconvenience of holding a typical stopwatch is significant. I use it for sprinting so I don't have to hold a stopwatch in my hand while I go - just one less thing to think about when moving at my limit. It is good for this - the button has a nice, solid click to it, it is about as easy to access as possible, the display is small but very clear, the operation is simple - nothing extraneous to complicate things, nothing to think about at all.The strap is stretchy silicone (I believe) and fits my hand quite comfortably. I - adult male, 5'10", slightly smaller than average hands - wear it on my index finger, which is about 2.75" (~70mm) in circumference at the base.Only comment/complaint would be that this is not great for running any sort of distance in the heat, as it does not breath and my finger gets very hot underneath it. Making the strap vented via small holes may be nice, but may not be worth the trouble. Also, maybe it would be nice if it had a backlight - I'm not sure it really makes that much of a difference. Also, pay close attention to the exact model you are getting - the colors are not just a matter of aesthetics, but are associated with models which have different functionality. I purchased the Yellow model, which specifically acts as a stopwatch, not a lap counter, since I'm only doing a small series of single runs.Anyway, would recommend it for the purposes described above. Basically I had the thought of "man, it'd be great if someone made a basic stopwatch that just fit onto your finger" and then found this within about 30 seconds of searching. Good idea, well executed.EDIT: One odd feature is that this timer doesn't have the ability to pause timing - only start and reset. Not a major issue for my use, but notable for people who go on longer runs and might pause at crosswalks, for example.

Yeah, didn't work very well
A stopwatch function is very traditional and perfected. Everything else didn't work very well.

Great for counter-current swimming
I used to swim a lot in 25m pools, but decades later, counter-current swimming in a short pool against jets is completely new to me. At first I counted strokes to know how far I was into my on-the-spot swim. But who wants to focus on counting strokes when the fun is focusing on technique and drills? I wanted something super-simple to keep track of time for me. I looked at various options (including waterproof watches and exercise trackers) but the SC Sportcount was the "aha!". It does exactly what I want. Super easy to use, inexpensive and effective. Every swim is back to being a fun challenge rather than a counting chore. :)

No nonsense stop watch
This is exactly what my runner husband wanted. A simple stop watch that does its job and does not have unnecesary functions (that takes you to a screen that you did not intend to when you press the button). He loves it!

Stays very secure during a swim
Very satisfied with this timer. Stays securely fastened during long swims. Is easy to start and stop while in the pool swimming a set. Only thing to note is that it does not pause so once you’ve stopped the timer if you click it again it will reset. Overall very happy with product and would recommend to enhance a workout while swimming laps.
