These curtains are awesome! They block out light inside and out! Of course you will have some daylight get through the top where the curtain isn't up against the wall, but you could rig it if you wanted total blackout.. I was concerned about what you could see from the outside since I don't have blinds on the windows, and I have a really bright lamp right next to the curtains.. so I went outside at night to check it out and you couldn't see anything!! Not even any light from the lamp! Very impressive! I highly recommend.. I'm sure I'll be returning eventually to get more because my cat loves them as well 😉😼 The picture is my curtain (in black) with the lamp next to it, just to show you the extent it blocks light, even from the outside!

I bought one curtain for the window in my room and for the price of $13.99 this was a really good buy. Many people in my family thought it was a shower curtain. I had to yell at them. I think with a liner I guess this could be a shower curtain. The curtain is made of a very thick material and although the listing says the color is yellow it actually looks like a cream color (see pic). It’s the perfect curtain color for almost all homes. Plus, I’m an insomniac so sometimes I like to sleep in and wake up really late. This curtain will definitely block out the sunlight. I should also mention that the curtains are quite heavy so when you hang them make sure your rod is strong enough for the curtain. I used a very flimsy rod at first and it almost came off from the wall. It almost killed the wall. Luckily, I noticed and was quick to make the necessary adjustments. Overall, I would highly recommend these blackout curtains.

I bought the 52x95 black version for $21. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon. It closes off a hallway that ruined the feeling of the living room in my modest small space in the world and now it blocks the sunlight, protects privacy, enhances the feeling of the living room space, and makes the kitchen area feel like just a kitchen. Stays open easily to make either area feel connected again. It allows an otherwise poor feeling living environment to feel flexible like a modern studio apartment with class. I didn't know that I was missing this element so bad until I received it. The curtain is heavy and durable, high quality, and slides easy across the curtain rod. Has a nice microfiber feeling when touched. For the life value, very worth the asking price. Highly recommended for those with a similar need.

I have this draped over the entrance to the master vanity/bath area and it has worked great. The bathroom and vanity area has so many windows that it completed illuminated our bedroom by 6am. This worked great at blocking the light in the mornings so we can get a little extra sleep on the weekends. At first, we were concerned that the fabric might not block all the light but after putting them on, it exceeded our expectations. There is only a sliver of light coming through from the rings but with some adjustment, I bet I can block that out too. Can't comment on how much heat it blocks because the vanity never generated heat.

I purchased these curtains to put in my office window. I noticed that really keep the sun out during the day and reduces outside noise. These curtains are made of 100% polyester. The size is true to scale. They are very soft to touch and are wrinkle-free right out of the package. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some quality blackout noise reduction curtains.

They seemed great in the beginning but they’re becoming see-through overtime! That it’s certainly not blacked out.

I use these as a light block on my darkroom door. It's not quite long enough to cover the entire door, so I have a little extra padded in at the bottom. Otherwise, it blocks 100% of the light easily.

some of the nicest curtains i've ever purchased. and customer service was great. the curtains are blackout as described and definitely blackout alot more than the supposed "blackout" curtains I purchased form walmart previously. the curtain felt great to the touch. I ordered 2 set of 2 panels both bags are marked as navy and the proper size but one bag has black curtains and the other bag has blue curtains
