They were awesome, the envy of all my neighbors. I loved them but they quit working in less than a year. Is that normal? I'm so disappointed. Would love to know how to get them working again. Too expensive to replace every year.

Item was what we expected, fast arrival, reasonable price.

Worked great as long as it worked--lasted 5 months and would no longer charge with solar or with charging feature. This was wrapped around and up a palm tree in my backyard and looked great. I am sure many just use this for Christmas time--if used a few weeks a year it might be good. Not sure if I wand to spend $30 every 5 months to have lights daily. Perhaps it is not designed for this kind of use.

We just purchased three sets of these lights to accent our landscape and so far they have been great. There was only one light that did not work, but it is not in an obvious spot, otherwise it looks amazing. Hoping they hold up in the Minnesota winter, fingers crossed. Great addition to highlight your landscaping for not a lot of money and they are solar!!!

I was looking for a soft, subtle light to run along the inside of my retaining wall to accent my plants in the evening without interrupting my views of the Arizona night skies. it was about 6 feet short of running the entire length, but was perfect for what I needed. It took a little bit for your eyes to adjust so I could see them on, but after 10 minutes or so you could see the soft glow of the lights and the shadows of my plants. Unfortunately, after a few months it stopped working all together. I went to change the battery only to find that it isn't a typical rechargeable battery you can purchase like most yard solar lights. This one actually is soldered into the circuit board under the panel. Was pleased with initial purchase, but unhappy it failed so quickly without the ability to just swap out the battery.

Getting the product in such short order was awesome...less than 24 hours..koodoos Amazon.The 2 color strings were what I ordered and work just like I envisioned.Had the white rope been what I ordered, the star rating would be higher..Now the bad part:I didn't check the ROPE solar panel before stringing - exerted a lot of rope light effort in this 10 x 20 portable carport used as a BBQ/patio area, Two complaints:1. the string was only long enough to go 20' x 5' and back 20' x 10', so apx 55', NOT THE footage I PAID FOR.2. upon inspecting the solar panel to hook up to the string, 2 things were immediately noticeable -NO PLASTIC COVER ON THE SOLAR PANELSCRATCHES ARE VISIBLE.I wasn't aware that Amazon sent out RETURNED/USED product. The product functions, but for how long? how used is it? and not bright enough....by the time i'd gone this far, I wasn't going to take it all down and return for a NEW/brighter rope.So I need to order a SOLAR BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT ROPE bright enough to read by - AT LEAST 20' LONG with at least 7' of starter wire.. I'll just hook up the solar panel FIRST (after inspecting) then just run the light from the high part of the portable carport from one end to the other one time.Please advise of product availability and how soon I can receive it.Ronald W Istre

The driveway and road near our house is very dark and we have drain ditches on both sides of the end of the driveway where it meets the road. The driveway is curved so is tricky in the dark. I wanted something to line the path so we, as well as our visitors, could stay off our grass and out of the ditches! I bought 2 different brands of solar rope lights ( this one, and another brand). This one was not only nice and long, but is great quality and has lit bright and without any issues since day 1! The other didn't do well, so will be returning it. I immediately bought another one of these Image 8 rope lights to take the place of the other brand that didn't work so great. Everything has been great! See picts

I bought 2 of these strings. It looks pretty at night. After using it for less than a month one string lasts for less than half the time of the other. It now stops working after about 5 hours of darkness. At first I thought the problem had to do with the angle of the solar panel and then we had rainy days. But the panel is adjusted to the same as the other and it's now sunny. Now I'm concerned the other string will not last long.
