Q: This is an odd question but has anyone used this for their laundry room? I'm wondering if fabric softener sheets would work in the towel dispencer.

I have these in my stores, they use long paper towels. Dryer sheets could work, the problem is the length. The width is fine but I would worry that with the dryer sheet being so much shorter you would pull the stack through the opening long ways. If you wanted to engineer something inside on the edges to hold the ends in place that might work. Hope this helps.

Q: Will this properly recess into a standard wall? It states minimum 4”, but 2x4 wall framing is actually only 3.5” deep.

Drywall is at least 1/2" thick for most walls, so that adds up to 4" without extending past the other side of the studs.

Q: What are the cut out dimensions?

Hello-- The rough wall opening dimensions are : 12 5/8" W, 26 5/8" H, 4" min. depth (320 x 675 x 100mm).
