This shampoo has made a big difference in softening my hair and making it look fuller. I have extremely hard water and I've tried several products, and this one seems to be working. The order came In at a timely manner without leaking it was packaged very well. I have gotten other things that were liquid and leaked but this was packaged with extra padding on top and bottom inside the box. Maybe a little bit more expensive than I would like to buy this amount of shampoo in a bottle, however, it seems to work as described here on Amazon. The color of the shampoo is a pearlish white and did not affect any highlights I have in my hair. And it did lather up pretty good and only had to wash my hair one time, so that will save on some use of the shampoo. I would recommend and I will buy again.

I’ve been really impressed with this shampoo. My hair is color-treated, and I wanted something that would give it a deeper clean without leaving it feeling dry or stripped. This does exactly that. My hair feels noticeably cleaner, softer, and smoother after washing, and it still feels moisturized and manageable. A little goes a long way, it lathers really well, and I love how my hair feels afterward. I especially like using it as part of my routine to help remove buildup while still being gentle on my color-treated hair. It’s definitely more expensive than a regular shampoo, but for the quality and how my hair feels after using it, I think it’s worth it. I would absolutely purchase it again!

It’s pricey but worth it if you have well water. Even though we have a water softener we still have issues with hard water. This shampoo helps clean the hard water deposits from your hair without over drying your hair. This shampoo + Paul Mitchell purple shampoo help keep my blonde hair from looking too brassy.

After moving somewhere with very hard (and specifically iron filled) water a few years ago, my hair really began to suffer. It started breaking off like crazy, wouldn't (or couldn't) grow fast enough to make up for it, and anywhere my hair was color treated, the dye washed out and was replaced with a nasty bright orange color. I tried everything. Seriously, everything. The Malibu Hard Water kit did absolutely nothing for me, all it did was dry out my hair without actually removing what I needed it to. The filter I put on my showerhead wasn't able to block enough of the iron in the water to make a noticeable difference, no matter what brand I tried. There are only TWO products that have helped with the iron in my hair, and this is one of them. I've been using this shampoo for a few months now (I use it about once a week to try to make it last longer since it's so expensive, but I also only wash my hair twice a week, so every other time) and I've noticed a difference in the quality of my hair. While it's still more prone to breakage than it was before I moved here, it's softer and I don't have to clean my hairbrush as often. The most noticeable difference is that the bright orange iron deposits in my hair are gone now - it's just a faded, normal blonde color. I don't think my hair will ever get back to how it was as long as I'm using this water, but using this shampoo makes it bearable and I no longer feel like I'm under threat of losing literally all of my hair. If you're having issues with iron or other metals in your water affecting your hair, this is the shampoo you want. And if you're really desperate and need extra help, there's one more product that I've found to actually work among the many I've tried: Color Wow Dream Filter Pre Shampoo Mineral Remover. You spray it on your dry hair and wait a few minutes before getting into the shower and rinsing it off, but I usually leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then you shampoo and condition like usual. This was the only product that worked for me at all before using this shampoo - it made my hair softer and noticeably less orange. The shampoo has been working so well that I haven't bothered to buy more of it and try the two of them together, but if you're in a serious situation with your hair and need help, get both of these products. They're the only ones that have worked for me out of everything advertised for it. (And as a side note, I always chose to purchase the Dream Filter Mineral Remover from Sephora to make sure that I was getting a genuine product. I buy a lot of things from Amazon, but if I read the reviews and get the hint that there might be illegitimate copies mixed into the product supply, I find it somewhere else. I bought the shampoo here because I didn't see anything to indicate that was the case, but you might want to go to Sephora for the other just to be safe. It's usually expensive beauty products that they do this with.)

This is a great purchase if you’re worried your hair has stains in from water. It smells great and a little goes a long way with this stuff! I have blonde hair and sometimes feel like my older pipes give it a bit of a reddish tint so I use this once a month. I’d also recommend getting a water filter if you’re still worried about minerals from water/pipes.

This definetly is a deep clean for your hair. I only use this once a month bc it does strip moisture from your hair but it's necessary for the hard water build up! There is a faint scent that doesn't last. Your hair will feel kind of stiff afterwards but one you round brush it or curl it, that stiffness fades. Will repurchase when I need to but this one bottle has lasted me several months so far.

I bought this salon shampoo because my water has a lot of metals and it was making my blonde hair feel dry. I use it about once a month with my regular shampoo and it has helped improve dryness and overall hair health over time. It feels moisturizing without stripping my hair and the thickness is good so it lathers easily and a small amount goes a long way which helps with volume. I also have not had any issues with leakage from the bottle. The ingredients feel more salon quality and my hair feels healthier and my color looks a bit more even and less dull after using it. Overall it is more of a maintenance product than an instant fix but it works well for hard water care.

One of the best shampoos I have ever used. It did "lighten" my hair (so to speak) by removing metal/hard water and product build up. I did not find it to be drying or stripping at all. I can brush through my hair after using this, even if I didn't use a conditioner. This also gets my hair clean to a level where I feel like my "oily hair" problems are no longer an issue. It's rich and lathers extremely well. A little truly does go a long way. It's expensive, but worth it (especially for those with gray hair that tends to turn yellow from hard water). If you have color treated hair, you may want to avoid this shampoo (it might fade your color).
