LUX E90 V7, BMW Angel Eyes

Bought these for my 2007 E90 335xi. I would say installing them is somewhat more difficult that changing your tires, but ultimately straightforward.The Good: I can say that they look incredibly good compared to stock. Both the inner and outer rings look to be the same brightness to me with the V7. The are very bright, very white and I couldn't be happier with the finished look.The Bad:1 - One of the lights I received was defective. After installation, it would not turn on. I verified it was properly installed and it was. When I attempted to uninstall and troubleshoot, the blade terminal completely broke off of the unit. Fortunately, I had a replacement terminal and was able to properly crimp the wire to the new terminal, which also fixed issue the unit. It appears the old terminal did not make a connection to the wire, preventing it from getting any power, which also allowed it to easily break off. Although I could fix it, most others would need to send it back. This would be a very frustrating experience, especially considering the following items.2 - The price. $125 for a pair of LED bulbs?! Quality control should have been better at this price point. Its a somewhat niche product though, and one of the most trusted name in that market.3 - The install. I hope for your sake you can change a tire, but if not, find a handy friend or professional to help. This isn't an issue with the product itself, but

I absolutely loved these lights, installing them was the difference between night and day! I have an 07 E90 and it really does what I expected. I want to mention it isn’t worth it to do it yourself, it was an absolute nightmare installing them. I would have preferred a professional do it. I also want to say, they are so bright they definitely fill the entire halo, I read some review that showed the lights being too dim, greenish, not filling all angel eyes, those issues come from INSTALL ERRORS. I had originally installed mine incorrectly and experienced all those issues firsthand. I was really worried I got jipped, but I was able to correct the position I installed them in and they worked fine afterwards. Note that there’s 2 install holes, absolutely make sure you test them lol. Absolutely Great lights, you definitely have to switch if you still have halogen bulb! *Edit: as the title says, it's been about two years and I haven't had a single issue. Lux all the way!I've been all over threads for weeks looking for brighter/whiter halos, and everywhere I looked, it was always Lux that was hailed as the best. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money, but everything else had stories of flickering, or throwing codes, or only lasting a few weeks/months, so i decided rather than make the cheaper mistake and end up spending the money anyway, I'd start with what everyone was telling me was the best; Lux.It's only been a couple weeks, but I couldn't be happier! The pictures DO NOT do these lights justice! It's seriously like night and day. And speaking of night, these lights look absolutely incredible with my stock HID's. It's a shame that the car didn't come from the factory like this.From what I understand, Lux has fantastic customer service (I haven't needed it), so do what I did. Spend the money on the quality, and you'll be happier for it in the end. Oh yea, and shipping took less than 24 hours, so that was awesome too.

Not very pleased with this item; as others have mentioned one will appear white while the other would have a tint. I figured maybe by now they fixed their issues; as others have pointed out at this price point there shouldn't be any problems. They have a high rating, so I tried my luck. Unfortunately, my issues are nearly the same. One is stark white, but where my experience differs is the other one is blue. The other problem, this isn't a tint as others mentioned....this is a whole shade. It is completely noticeable. I tried taking a pic but I don't know if other people are using some sort of filter but they came out as just a big white blur on both sides; don't have much time and don't really care that much to get a better pic. I keep them hoping the other one will blend in with time as others have said one redeeming quality is they last a long time. Time will tell I suppose.

I put these in my 2008 BMW 335xi. These LED lamps are far better than the stock halogen bulbs. Installation is a nuisance - typical of replacing BMW headlights. The front wheels and the fender lining have to be removed, but the online videos tell you everything you need to know. (Remember that if your car came with runflat tires then your car does not have a jacket. But your car will have the lift points.) Be sure to get the correct bulb for your car model. I would definitely purchase again, so they’ll probably last longer than the car.

These make such a difference in the appearance of the angel eyes. I've wanted to make the change for a long time but had a hard time justifying the cost. I'm glad I didn't go with a cheaper set because these are great. No codes, great color temperature, and very bright. Only downside (other than the cost) was that they were a bit of a pain to install, requiring the removal of the wheels and wheel liners of my E90 sedan, but that's BMW's fault. I've coded the car using Carly to run these as daytime running lights, which I love.

If you are familiar with the bmw e90 halo lights you know that they are finicky at best. I have installed multiple cheaper led versions and they don’t last and are not too bright. After installing these I was blown away by how much light they put out and the way they look. Definitely recommend these and hope they last.

Good quality and extremely bright BUT my passenger side burned out in less than 4 months. Come on LUX 🤦🏽‍♂️
