Simple but elegant
I needed some trivets for my glass pitchers so I could place them on my new granite counter. The glass was too fragile and cracked a couple. The trivets color matched the granite well and provided the softer surface to prevent my glass and ceramics from becoming damaged. The construction and finish of the bamboo is quite nice. Routed grooves top and bottom are well done. No splinters or rough edges. Obviously they will double as a protector for hot pots and pans on my dining table. Highly recommend.

only 3/8’ thick…not 1.5”
The dimensions listed for the trivets are 7.01"L x 7.01"W x 1.5"Th. (These figures were copied directly from the listing) I would assume that “Th” refers to thickness. Each of the trivets that I received are only 3/8” thick. Not even close to 1.5” thick. See photo…I am holding the package of 4 trivets.

The 7 inch size of these trivets are perfect! They seem sturdy and will easily hold larger pots.

These are excellent. Nice weight and look nice in the table. I added round pads to the bottom so they don’t scratch my table. They came with pads but I didn’t feel they were adequate.

Using it as a soap dish
So, that's probably not usual, but it makes a great soap holder for in the shower. The other bonus is it's not expensive.
