I used this face wash as a mask on my chin to get stubborn gunk out that was visibly beneath the surface and refusing to come out. This intensive, purge-inducing face wash is great if you are prepared to not wear makeup for about a week or two. The fragrance is impressive in the way that the sulfur smell is almost completely masked. This allows the sulfur smell to be tolerable. The appearance of my skin is drastically improved when I use this wash as a mask on my chin area. It will bring on stubborn acne below the surface and allow you to deal with it accordingly so it dissipates. You just have to be careful, and ready for the purge process. I want to give this 4.5 stars. Minus .5 for the lengthy process it was and how painful the experience can be to purge if you have acne that won't come up to be healed. but I can't blame the company for that, just a warning so 5 stars. As for using it as a face wash, I am not sure what quick results do.

I have used this facewash for probably a decade (37, female). Acne-prone (now suddely have rosaeca after discontinuing birth control) have been on so many topical and oral rx's for my skin, including doing two rounds of accutane. (I don't recommend using this while on accutane as it is a bit too drying for that.) But I used it before and afterwards with no problem. My skin has become less oily since I did accutane, and with aging I guess, so if you have normal-to-dry skin I would recommend only using it in the evening with lukewarm water so that your skin doesn't get too dry. If you have oily skin, you will love this and probably be able to tolorate it in AM & PM if you need to wash your face twice a day. I have tried benzyol peroxide, salicylic acid, and other facewashes for acne-prone skin and none have been as effective as this sulfur one has been. You really don't need a lot of it as it emulisfys well, so although it's pricy, it lasts if you are mindful of the amount you are using. 100000% worth it. I will forever purchase this.

I am older (48), but my acne has never left me. I have had it since I was a tiny teen. I have very large pores and this product is great for shrinking the appearance of those ugly large pores. The product is thick, foamy, and gentle but strong enough to make a major difference. It does have the scent of sulfur which turns a lot of people off, BUT I love it! I have noticed my skin is less oily, pores smaller, some acne scars are gone and my skin looks so smooth and pretty. Give it time because the sulfur in the product is going to draw the gunk out or your pores at first. Then you get smooth pretty skin.

I have mild rosacea that sometimes will flare , was using another OTC ointment however wasn’t working quick enough for me and the sulfur content was lower. I was told by friend to try this .. it’s pricey but well worth it I saw improvement in a few days. It is drying so I didn’t used every day , I will be ordering this from now on.

This product was gentle enough for inflamed skin! It didn't leave my skin feeling irritated, it was gentle. It's my first time using a sulfur cleanser, so I didn't notice a huge difference with my active acne other than my skin not feeling irritated. However I can say that compared to salicylic acid cleansers/ purifying. Cleansers foe acne its definitely more gentle and feels softer on my skin~so I would recommend trying if you're dealing with cleansers that irritate your skin!

I waited to write this review because I feared that it would be another facial cleanser that didn’t live up to the hype. I have never struggled with acne but, as I entered my forty’s something changed. I have purchased product after product trying to find something to get my face back to what it was and they all failed. I have oily/combo skin predominantly in the t-zone area (mostly my forehead). I bought this cleanser 3 weeks ago and told myself if it didn’t work I was done experimenting. This cleanser has reduced my acne by almost 80 percent. I have some dark blemishes on one cheek but, I notice that that area is lightening up. If you have doubts about buying this cleanser I hope this review changes your mind. I will be repurchasing in the future.

it works! my skin feels a lot better, less blackheads, less oily, more clear. I like it so far! leaves skin feeling very clean. 10/10.

I've bought this 4 times and its a winner for me. Not as drying as peroxide based face washes but clears out all my skin issues. I'm in my late 30s with problematic skin and this has helped me get my skin clear and clean. Works as a spot treatment too. I use it daily and have not had any irritation. I put it on in the shower and I let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off. I wish they had this in my teenaged years, but I'm glad its available now.

so i bought this with very little expectations but It works!!!!!!! i use it like a mask and leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off. my nose used to have those little black stuff not sure what it’s called. and now it’s all gone! just my annoying freckles and small little hairs. i took a zoomed in photo to show how clean it is now.

Pore at nose become smaller. Lesser black heads observed after 2 week use. Morning and evening.

Product arrived as scheduled. Box came dented but the tube inside was in good condition. First time trying this. Really need to get rid of blackheads and those little black dots which aren’t really blackheads. Pricey I must say. Hope it works!
