This is a very nice crystal and exactly as described. It's not a large crystal but 1cm isn't large and I didn't want large.

Your gonna get Pyrite, but not like the picture.
I like that it arrived on time. It's not as pretty, but that's fine, because I just wanted some pyrite in my collection. It was just a small cluster of pyrite that I received. Plus it was super cheap.

The picture and description showed this as a shiny crystal with smooth edges. It actually looks like a dirty hunk of fools gold. I realize it is fools gold but I was looking for a smooth piece not a cluster. Also there was no packing material so the already small stone is turning to crushed sand. Very unhappy with this purchase I made for a gift.

I pity the fool
This gem came at such an appropriate and almost ironically timed moment - I had just said in a conversation with a friend: “I pity the fool” - Then retrieved my package deliveries right after.... opened one and there was a pyrite - a.k.a. Fools gold.It’s long been a good mineral to keep nearby for me - whether I’m the fool, or just easily fooled... I tend to keep my wits closer about me, and conscientious of others possible fronts and falsehoods ...I’m not a hard fast believer that gemstones and certain stones can cure specific ills or prevent particular problems ... but I’ve never had the extra grounding energy from earths minerals - and some of the natural beauty is truly amazing .Highly recommend :)

My twelve-year-old has been really looking forward to getting some Pyrite/Fool's Gold for his collection and this was perfect. I'd say it was just under an inch, but still decent size. Our version looked different from the image, but that's to be expected when buying stones online. He's very happy with it and the price was good, so I'm happy too.
