I wish I took a before photo, so yall will just have to trust me when I say that before using this product, the nail separation/overall nastiness was at the base of the nail and rapidly getting worse no matter what I tried. The entire right side of the nail was NASTY. I started using the SILKA Max Strength Anti-Fungal on July 17th, and it’s not even a month later and you can see it’s now grown out, and up to the middle of the nail. I’ve been gently cutting it as it grows which is once every 3-4 days since the nail is growing SO fast. It’s such a relief to see all that healthy growth after worrying that the dr will have to remove the whole thing and start me on some heavy treatment for this toe that’s been a problem for a while now. I saw some angry reviews about it not being like a clear-coat nail polish. It says it right in the photos how to apply, so please read the entire product description shown on the bottle in the photos. You’re not supposed to put any sort of polish on a toe nail like this. It needs to breathe. I do use the brush to put some under the top of my nail as well as along all the sides, and let it air dry. Most days I just do it once or twice, and it’s still working great! Cannot recommend enough.

Works!! I have had this in my cart off and on and after nothing else worked OTC I bought it!! Noticed a difference after day 1!! Almost cleared up after 7 days! Don’t sleep on this!

I’ve been dealing with this problem with one of my toenails for almost three years, and I honestly can’t believe I’m finally seeing a difference! I’ve been using this twice a day, and I can actually see healthy looking nail growing in instead of the yellow discoloration I was used to seeing. I’m so happy with the progress so far. If you’ve been struggling with the same issue, I highly recommend giving this a try!

Seems to work so far, only used it for two days and my toenail already looks better, taking a star off because the applicator is flawed and makes to hard to apply to the toe without it getting all over the place.

I had lost a couple of toenails after repetitive running. I assumed it was due to the constant impact on my nails hitting the front of my shoes. They turned black, fell off, and grew back in a couple of months. The same thing happened when I went on a brutal hike a year or two later. Then again after running a couple years later. More recently, which was several years later, I decided to take a rest from pedicures after seeing white spots on multiple toenails. Then I noticed a new nail had grown in under my right big toe when the top nail started lifting. The top nail wasn’t black. I was able to clip half of it off. The right side of the nail was still attached to the bottom nail. After Googling possible reasons and seeing that fungus could be causing it, I started looking into fungus treatment and came across this one. I’ve been following the twice a day treatment for the last 3 weeks and my nails are noticeably shinier and just overall way more healthy looking (no more small white patches on any of my nails). I have just two centimeters or so left for my top toenail to grow past my toe for me to clip the rest of it off. I’m not sure whether or not it was fungus since I never saw a doctor for the issue, but I do know all my toenails look way healthier now. I’m still going to continue the treatment since I read these treatments can take 3-6 months and I want to make sure I don’t stop short of full nail recovery. If you’re having a similar suspicious situation with your nails, I recommend trying this out. It’s inexpensive so worth a try.

This antifungal liquid didn’t have the strong smell some treatments do, which I appreciated, but it ultimately didn’t work for me. In my case, I think the issue was already too far along for this to make a noticeable difference. The brush applicator was easy to use and the product went on cleanly, but I didn’t see the results I was hoping for.

Been using consistently for 1 week and already see so much improvement! I only had one (big) toe with a problem but the yellowing is gone and getting lighter by the day!

This is just one of may other anecdotal reviews. I can say that I was put-off when the product arrived and I read the directions and learned that this wasn't specifically for application to nails - despite the graphics on the packaging. Since I had it, I thought I may as well try it anyway. My big tow had some obvious fungal issues starting to cause discoloration on the right side of the nail. I cleaned it out as much as I could (amazed that at my age, I was able to lift my foot to the top of the bathroom counter to work on it!). Next, I applied as directed -both on top of the nail and into the small space between it and the skin. The next morning, I could see a difference, and over the past 7-days, it has improved. I'm continuing to apply it 2x daily and give it a few ,more weeks. So far - I'm encouraged.

The box shows a toenail, people in the reviews mention their nails but then the text on the box says that this product is not for nails. Confused and unsure whether it is still worth trying.
