I purchased the INSDEA 1200W LED Solar Street Light Motion Sensor on December 25, 2022 and January 2, 2023 and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. I mounted the lights in a village in Africa where reliable electricity can be a challenge, but this solar light has proven to be an exceptional solution.First and foremost, this light works flawlessly throughout the night. I have tested it for three months and it has never gone off at night even once. It delivers on its promise of providing continuous illumination, ensuring that the surroundings are well-lit and secure.Installation was a breeze as well. With no need for wiring or trenching, I simply used the included mounting screws and accessories to set it up. I have installed it on a light pole and it has been sturdy and dependable.One aspect that stands out is the versatility of this light. It offers multiple lighting modes, including motion sensor, timed lighting, and always lighting. The motion sensor mode provides a balanced approach, adjusting the brightness when motion is detected and returning to a lower brightness afterward. The timed lighting feature allows me to customize the duration of full brightness, while the always lighting mode provides constant illumination with adjustable brightness settings.Although the product is labeled as a 1200W light, I found it to perform as a 1000W solar light. While this discrepancy may raise some questions, it doesn't undermine the excellent performance and reliability of the product. I am planning to purchase more of these lights to further enhance the lighting in my surroundings.Additionally, this solar street light is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. Its IP66 waterproof rating and temperature resistance of -5°C to 65°C ensure its durability and functionality in various climates.I also appreciate the light sensing and remote control features. I use this fixture over my kids playset area so they can get some play time in the late part of the day especially during the shorter days of the year. I usually leave the lamp set to auto 25% brightness and most of the time it will run all night (10+ hours) in this mode even if the prior day was gloomy with no real direct sun. Run at higher levels of output you can subtract about 2 hours for each level you increase it. If it has a day of good sun it will easily run all night on a higher level. Unit has a big solar array on the back, I oriented mine to face the southern sky for best solar exposure. Installation was easy, it can be bolted to a cement/block wall or post with the included hardware, in my case I mounted it to the wood playset with screws and washers.The hardware is of good quality and easy to assemble. The unit is large! Around the size of two full size ipads laid end to end for the "400w" model. Mine is about 8.5 feet off the ground and gives great light for the area I use it. Mounted higher on a pole or wall and it would easily flood an area of 400-500+ sq feet with good light no problem, such as a good size driveway or most of an average backyard.Unit includes a remote, works up to about 35-40 feet away, its of the normal infared type. It can be a little finicky. I've found pressing the button of the function you want sometimes requires two deliberate presses to get the function to happen, but this is a minor issue.Overall, great light output, decently durable construction, includes mounting hardware, and runs a long time even after a gloomy day!It was hard to capture the light output level differences with my camera in the dark. 25% is in the range of a strong nightlight, and 100% is on par with any powerful outdoor floodlight.

After having a couple of instances of vehicle pilfering in my driveway I decided it was time to install security lighting. The Insdea LED Solar light is an excellent security light with an extremely bright LED light array. I was very impressed with the construction and extreme brightness of this product. Installation was quick and easy with the 4 bolt clamp provided. I mounted it on a 12 foot pole at the end of my driveway and it covers the garage and about 40 feet of driveway. I plan to install a taller pole to expand the light's coverage.The 80000 lumen brightness of the light covers the driveway very well and due to the Solar charging there's no increase in my power bill. This light works all night, turns off at daybreak, and begins to recharge the internal battery using the Sun for charging each day. The light turns on each right after sunset.I own and use several similar Solar lights from Amazon around my home and have been very satisfied with the products. These lights pay for themselves since the power is solar.

It puts out light but I am not sure it’s as bright as it should be.

I needed a light for my home vegetable garden that could be mounted to my exterior brick wall and extend beyond the overhang and rain gutters. This product fit the need perfectly. The first thing I did was to charge the light and then my wife and I went to the garden and turned it on. The light was bright enough to see every thing under it. It exceeded my expectations. The installation using the provided sleeve anchors did not go well. One of the top anchors would not tighten up. what I discovered was the threads on the bolt did not extend all the way. The position of the anchor happened to fall where there was a void. I would suggest if mounting on a brick wall you spend the $8-10 to buy a sleeve 3/8" anchor from a box store. The provided anchors are cheap and non-standard in size. It is still a great light and deserves the 5 star rating.
