This is a decent device. It does what I wanted (take still shot pictures, take video with sound, and do audio recording). Despite the settings that say video 1080HD, photo 40Mp, the quality of the images and video does not appear to be as good as that. The audio sounds okay enough for such a device. I also like that you can disable Loop Record (which writes over what was written once the card is full), and that it supports night vision. And since it has a rotating lens (180 degrees), it also supports Image Rotation so the image is displayed right side up. And the battery seems to last, but I'm not sure about 10 hours yet. So all good. Except the SD card that comes with it. It is junk. I used it maybe three or four times, and it basically no longer responds. I lost an entire day of data. The device doesn't even think there's a card installed. I tried another quality card, and it works fine. I contacted the seller as this is nonsense. This isn't that cheap of a device, and I even paid the extra $7 to get the 64GB card. The description says "Comes with a high quality 32G/64GB card. " Not true! I wouldn't buy again, or certainly do not waste the money for the larger SD card, as it is junk. Let's see if the seller stands behind their description, and sends me a quality product replacement card. With a SanDisk or Micron card, I would raise the rating of this device. But so far, they don’t even respond. To sell something at this price point, and include some crap SD card, forcing you to have to go out and get another one, does not wash! So my recommendation is avoid this product. Do not reinforce this kind of business practice. Edit: August 5, 2023 The company Boblov contacted me and informed me that they are working on a new SD Card, so I think it is clear they are aware of the issue. They offered me a refund in the amount that covered my purchase of a quality SD card, which I accepted. This is a fair and acceptable response on their part, and shows they stand behind their product and take care of customer issues very promptly! I am bumping my review to 5 stars. Not because I got some money back, but because they recognized the issue and took care of it immediately. I personally don't understand why they don't just ship with a decent card to begin with, but at least they didn't leave me hanging. But other than the issues I had with the SD card, the A22 really does do everything I want. Yes, the video and photo quality aren't the best, but it is about what I expected. I like that is has an LCD display (which I didn't mention above), so I can see what I'm taking a picture of, and I can disable loop recording, which I do not want (many don't allow you to disable this, which doesn't make sense to me). Also, given that the lens can rotate, the software does allow you flip the recorded image, which is great. I only wish there was a way to update the firmware to keep the device running at its best. I also wish the clip were a bit better. Also note, the clip has a magnet in it. Not super strong, but it can be very handy. Overall, I'm very pleased with the device and the company's response to my issue. I now recommend!

I'm changing my review; in the original I gave it two stars because it only recorded for about an hour. I think I've figured out what happened. I'm a retired Engineer. On past projects the very bright and very intelligent young people I worked with had to be constantly restrained from adding every bell and whistle they could come up with. This seems to be the case here: This camera has a ton of bells and whistles, more than I (or anyone) needs. This means there are several buttons on each side of the camera and if you're not VERY careful you wind up pushing one or the other and turning on one of the "gee whiz I bet THIS will be super!" options. I like the fact that I can set the camera to record without a blinking record light and the display turns off. The audio and video are very good considering the small size of the camera and when I put it in my pocket it's not really noticeable. I've worn it a few times now and unless I mention it nobody notices it. But of those several (five) times I've used it the camera only recorded the entire time once. Be careful handling it! Also when you charge it you need to manually turn it on then off after you unplug the charge cable, otherwise it stays in some kind of on state and the battery will be dead in a few hours. I emailed the manufacturer about this and they replied that they needed proof of purchase before they'd help me. What, they thought I stole it off a truck or something? I sent them a copy of my Amazon invoice but knock off a star for no tech support. I didn't expect that anyway, in my experience tech support for Chinese products is usually useless anyway. Bottom line, good camera, bad tech support, lots of unnecessary bells and whistles, too many buttons on the side.

I work security outdoors and wanted a small, unobtrusive camera that would not have any lights on it that would draw attention to me when going through dark areas. For the most part, the A22 pretty much fits the bill for my needs with maybe just a little room for improvement. In regular light, the picture is clear but the IR is a little weak. On a very dark night, I could not see objects that were maybe 10 to 15 feet away from me on the playback. To begin seeing objects clearly I probably had to be closer to 5 feet away but I need to test this a little more. Not great but not unexpected for this level camera either. Audio sounds fine. No indicator lights and being able to shut off the viewscreen helps keep the camera from being obvious or drawing attention to my location. I've read other reviews that stated the buttons made this camera almost unusable. I totally disagree with that. The button functions were easy to learn and easy to use even in the dark. As far as accessing the footage back in the office, the A22 acts like a standard mass storage device. Plug it in to a USB port and it shows up as a drive and all the video files are readily available. I've plugged the camera into my PC and my android phone with zero problems. I use VLC on my phone which worked fine for viewing the videos. I've not tried any other players. For my purposes, I leave the camera recording the entire time I am on patrol. I've recorded up to 5 or 6 hours continuously and the battery level indicated it was still above the half full. I understand that for someone else, they might prefer a central button to quickly begin recording instead but I find the sliding button on the side of the camera easy enough to use. Overall, I'm very pleased with this camera and only wish the IR was a little better. Pros: Small Does not draw attention to itself Clear video and audio Easy to use Easy to download videos to my PC and phone (only tried Android) Adjusting settings was easy. Menus were easy to navigate. Viewscreen clear and sharp despite small size Can be mounted magnetically Cons: IR is a little weak but acceptable for what I paid No WiFi - not a big deal for me but if you want it, the A22 doesn't have it Clip is fine for attaching to a shirt or jacket but will probably snap trying to attach to something thicker Buttons - you may want a larger emergency on record button. For me, the smaller buttons are fine. 12-20-22 - Updating my rating to 5 Stars. I encountered an issue with my camera which was absolutely my fault. I emailed the company with a question and they responded immediately and were helpful in resolving the problem I was having. It's a good camera for the price but good customer service is priceless.

I've only played with it for a few hours, but so far I have a pretty good idea of it's pros and cons and use cases. It's surprisingly smaller than I thought it would be. Pros: - Small in size - Simple on/off (with a caveat) recording - Decent short distance IR mode - Long lasting battery - Extensive configuration options - Can use in mass storage OR webcam mode when connected to the PC - Surprisingly decent image indoors and only decent outdoors - Motion detection mode works great, though I wish I could control how long it records after the last sensed motion Cons: - Camera rotation requires manual changes in the settings... on the second page of the settings. At least offer a shortcut button to flip the image. It's just really inconvenient to change. If UP turns the IR on and off, they could have made DOWN flip the image as necessary - Clip appears to be somewhat weak and plastic. Magnet in the clip is weak as well and the weight of the camera has it sliding down slowly if there's any vibration. Would have been nicer to have a full metal clip - While I like the 1/4-20 thread, it draws unnecessary attention when facing outward. A threaded cap would have been nice. The threaded portion is also too shallow, with my small desktop tripod and some of my GoPro adapters bottoming out, leaving the camera simply swinging around on the captive screw of the mount. - Kind of a big one... The switches and one or two buttons are loose enough that even the slight vibration of the car when mounted to the dash causes them to rattle and it's quite loud on recordings - Caveat to the switch to start recording... When you stop, it SHOULD turn off the camera altogether, but instead it goes into review mode and you have to slide and hold the switch down to shut it off completely. - Really wish you could turn the camera lens inward to protect it in a pocket - Difficult to find a stable way of attaching to clothing. Better off clipping to a backpack strap or tight clothing I've experimented and found the most stable way with my heavy but loose fitting t-shirts is using an adjustable lanyard around my neck with the camera hanging from the lanyard by the clip and a strong rare earth magnet on the inside of my t-shirt to hold it in place. I still get some wobbling, but it is better than hanging loosely in my t-shirt pocket where it goes crooked or sags badly. A stiff pocket insert for it to clip to might work better.

I have had this for 2 days now. I am including the video that I did 2 days ago when unpackaging the BOBLOV A22 Mini Cam. Quite excellent compared to other cams when you are walking around alot. Very sharp and colorful images, even as you are moving, no blur. I always have it on 1080 FHD setting, so that would probably matter alot in how good and sharp the image is. I just tried the audio recording feature as well, and it is very clear and amazing. The instruction booklet is very detailed so it makes it easy to format cam and SD card and learn how to use the cam. I use a 128 gb SD card and so it can record lots and lots of hours. I have it set for 10 minute clips, that is the longest time it does and if you run over the 10 minutes, it just keeps recording more 10 minute clips until you are finished running the video you want. Comes with a time stamp. I give this a 5 star on everything. Now to see how long one this baby lasts before I should have to get a new one. The other video I made with the actual footage taken from the body cam is still being processed yet and Amazon has yet to approve or not approve. You can also look for that video in the video section if they should happen to approve of it. UPDATE: May 13, 2022-I have dropped this camera on cement TWICE in recent days, still works just like new when I got it a few days ago and it never broke the camera lense or the LCD screen. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND DURABLE FOR A SMALL CAM. However, I better not drop it on cement again a third time or it probably would have a problem. Just to let you all know how durable this thing is. Still give it 5 stars on everything. I am addicted to this cam. It is so wonderful. I should start by saying I ordered this in order to document delivery drop-offs to prevent scamd and protect myself. To begin with, the battery life of this device is around 3-4 hours, nowhere near advertised. Worse, starting a recording doesn't guarantee you'll get what you need. It starts well enough ...and then randomly stops and starts again with no real reason. I've gone through settings and troubleshooted it. Nothing fixes it. It's just a bad design. As a result, I ended up with dozens of disjointed snippets. Nothing I could use cohesively to document any given 1 or 2 minutes. . . Let alone more than that. The UI is somewhat janky too. It doesn't automatically rotate the orientation of the video of itself when the camera is rotated. So, for example, if I start recording myself and then rotate it, now it's upside down. You have to go all the way through multiple clicks and lag to get to settings to rotate the view. And then it still is upside down in the other orientation. I'm incredibly disappointed since this camera is well-rated. As a former reviewer, I can all but guarantee that at least some sites are being paid or being given products to give this good reviews, based on my experiences with it. It's shameful and I'll be getting my money back to spend on something different.

I'm actually really impressed with this thing. It's a LOT smaller than it looks in the product images, which was a happy accident for me. I had been shopping for a more compact one, but this thing fits really comfortably if I clip it horizontally from my belt loop. Part of my regular responsibilities include canvassing around my community, so I wanted to invest in something like this in the unlikely event that I encounter something that I need proof/footage of at a later date. For that purpose, the rotating camera is awesome to make people feel more secure that they aren't being recorded while the press-to-start switch makes for a super convenient way to start capturing at a moment's notice. The screen isn't exactly the greatest, nor is the audio quality, but they're both absolutely acceptable given the sub-$100 price point for this device. Odds are, if you're getting a device like this, it's because your phone is either too big, too obvious, or inconvenient in some major way. There are some major compromises between a phone camera and this device, but the size, battery, and cost are what you're trading those conveniences for. Now, I've seen a number of reviews dogging on the included microSD card, so I didn't even bother to try it out. I bought a 128 GB Silicon Power microSD, and it works perfectly with the camera once it's formatted (which the camera can do by navigating to the option in the menu). Odds are, you can even save money by going with the lower capacity model here and getting a bigger microSD card on your own.

Okay so I have had other mini cameras before and the quality was pretty good with this one. Theres a few flaws in my opinion. First and most important thing wrong with this one is the battery life as well as how it charges. There’s a bright lcd screen on this thing which to me is really unnecessary. And EVERYTIME it receives power to charge, the screen comes on as it charges draining the power while charging. I wanted to charge this in my car as I was driving around doing food deliveries but everytime I get out and back in my car, the screen comes on making it not seem to charge AT ALL. So I go home and charge it and two days later I go to use it and the battery is low already. What??? I never turned it on since it’s full charge. Keep in mind over time batteries typically lose their charge and this one is already bad. Also it would have been helpful if you could view files on a computer when the usb cable is plugged in. And last it uses mov files. What are we in the QuickTime vs real player days again? Lol However, for me, that’s not really an issue. I was just expecting mp4 or avi files. If the battery life was different I would have given more stars but without power this product does nothing so charging/battery health is crucial for this type of item.

Eles funcionam muito bem, MAS não são firmes, ficam um pouco soltos e fazem barulho (como um chocalho). Isso pode ser um problema dependendo do uso, porque o som que eles fazem será captado pelo microfone e pode prejudicar o áudio. Eu uso dentro do meu carro e o barulho do chocalho era insuportável.

I'm impressed by how capable this small cam is. The video quality is great, the controls are simple and the battery life is excellent. Equally impressive is the Customer Service that I have received from BOBLOV. The first camera that I received had a problem; one contact via the BOBLOV "chat" function with Customer Service got me a remarkably quick replacement. Thanks very much BOBLOV! My only caution for customers considering this particular model is that it is a bit on the fragile side. I may consider purchasing a heavier, more sturdily-built model.

I’m happy with this little body camera. Unfortunately ive been harassed and verbally abused by my next door neighbour. But of course he is denying it when confronted by his Landlord. So now I have to wear a bodycam each time I’m in my front or backyard. I’ve also had to install a security camera. This little camera does the job and once you understand how to navigate through, it’s easy and quick to use. I like that I can play the videos on the camera and that they save. This camera is great for what I need and the price is reasonable. Thankyou.
