Great quality product, well made, quality material, perfect craftsmanship. The edges are tapered, making insertion in a flex duct a simple task. The quality construction made installing hose clamps no problem. I would say that I would buy thos product again, I already have for another project. You can't go wrong with this connector.

After doing what I'm supposed to and cleaning out the dryer vent hose and pipe I was really struggling to reattach the aluminum(or whatever) accordion style tube. Turns out that both it, and what I was connecting it to are the same size. The struggle made perfect since and I decided to look for a solution which brought me here.The connector fits perfectly into the pipe I needed to connect to and logically, that means the accordion tube should fit, right? Well... yes, but it only slightly lessened the struggle because it just wants to keep pushing back on itself and bending anyway.I will be buying one of the rigid sheet metal kits next time I go to clean the vent, but this does work well enough that if there's any reason you can't or don't want to do the same, it's worth buying.
