I do not like the (1) plastic (2) disposable razors that sell by the dozen, with their (3) lubricating strips of who knows what. I wanted a simpler, cleaner shaving experience. Beautiful razor!. Long handle (longer than most), comfortable in hand, good weight and balance. Love the little stand! AND shaves really well. Bought this to use for travel because of the stand. After using it, I am now considering using it as my primary razor and using my original Merkur for travel. One caution, because of the length of the handle, if you have a razor stand, it may be too long to fit. Measure carefully.

This is a very nice adjustable safety razor. I have sensitive skin and can adjust the razor according to the condition of my face at each use.

One year later, still using this shaver, looks like new threads are as good as new. Much better than using double, triple or quad blade traditional razors. Love the easy clean out and the close shave, plus using both sides of the blade makes for a twice as fast shave.

Nice appearance. Razors were junk. so much hate for the razors, I gave the whole unit away. very disappointed.

When I ordered this I expected it to be "ok" after all you get what you pay for right? This is an incredible razor I was so shocked and surprised at the quality and the way the handle was "weighted" perfectly. It is truly beautiful my grown son was so impressed with it and shaves beautifully. I am ordering for all of my boys! Thank you for such good customer service and such a wonderful product!

A beautiful object, beautifully packed. The stand is a nice touch. I really wanted to make it work. However, I could not find a way to use it without ending up looking like I had just survived an explosion in a glass factory. Right now I'm using it as decoration in my bathroom.

It came and it was really nicely presented, and I was stoked to find that it came with a lot of blade refills. I tried shaving with it an it barely felt like I was shaving and it was a really smooth shave. If there was anyway they could eliminate all the plastic from the box it came in (which wasn’t much), that would be awesome!
