I am so happy that I ordered these Flying Colors steak knives! Since I was only going by what I was seeing online it was a gamble, but I got lucky because these are high quality knives that should definitely last us a while. I love that they look like hipster switchblades, and the variety of bright colored handles match our kitchen plates perfectly. They are sharp, have a fine tip (which I prefer), and they've cut through many mammoth steaks in our house now and are still holding up like brand new! These are definitely not cheap flimsy knives, so money well spent in my opinion. I also love the little metal finger rest on the top of the knives that really come in handy when cutting into something thick (and delicious!).

amazing. so happy with these i have not even used them yet. but they look so expensive and just wonderful. true colour picture, not a red but a campbell red. i can not wait to use them. if i love them i will buy them for gifts. some of the negative comments, scratches, won't lie flat on plate i have to say no scratches and will see about lying on the plate. will post again, but for now a very very happy customer. sallie newman i have used them last night to cut pork chop. they are fabulous, wonderful, just beautiful. i love love love them. i am the pickiest person ever. the colour is not red, not orange, not pink, but all three? anyway i was so skeptical with all the negative reviews. i said for 19.99 you can not go wrong, not to order another set before they are unavailable. buy them you will love them. they go in dishwasher just fine for me. ordered eight more that arrived yesterday for the price you can not go wrong. sallie newman

Very sharp and long lasting. Love these for daily use. They hold the edge well. After a year still going strong with no issues at all.

Definitely not comparable to the real thing. The style is the same but these are lightweight and pretty cheap looking. But they were inexpensive so I got what I paid for. Fine for every day use and the work.

Very beautiful knives, but I hate that they can’t go through the dishwasher. Don’t even try. It ruins the wooden handle :/

Love the knives! The only negative is they came in a cardboard presentation box. I would be willing to pay more to have a good wooden storage box for them. It would make a better gift that way as well. The knives themselves are lovely and look great! The price is very reasonable!

The genuine Laguiole knives were used in a swank Chicago French restaurant I went to, and I fell in love with them! They are so easy to handle, wonderfully sharp, and the colored handles are fun and lovely on the table! These knives on Amazon are made by flying colors, but I find the quality equal to the real thing, so far at least. They are especially great for poultry but I will use them for all types of meat.

j'en avait depuis une dizaine d'années avec usage quotidien, lavage machine et éponge qui gratte à la main pendant une décennie et ils sont toujours vivants.... sauf un ou deux qui ont fini par lâcher (après de nombreuses années de loyaux services quotidien et de nombreuses chutes sur le carrelage..) J'ai donc commandé ceux la car sur la photo ils ressemblaient à mes vieux couteaux, c'est effectivement les même, des laguiole fabriqués sous licence je ne sais pas ou mais qui tiennent le choc, un excellent choix pour un usage au quotidien sans ménagement, je recommande, c'est du solide !
