Good Sound but some Issues
Pros: looks nice, has a nice satin finish, has a nice action and surprisingly good sound for the price. Case is fantastic. Tuners seem adequate.Cons: fret edges were like razors and took quite an effort to file and sand smooth, does not have a truss rod (at least not one that's visible and adjustable), had some issues with poorly fitted frets. May have bridge issues (see other reviews) as the bridge is glued only (many classical style bridges have wood pins or screws to reinforce the bond.)All in all I think the Rogue Starter guitar is much better for about the same price -- Rogue Starter Acoustic Guitar Red Burst . The Rogue is a hybrid that comes with steel strings but has a classical bridge that can take nylon strings. A string change would have been less work than what it took to get the frets smooth on the Rise. If you are willing to spend a little more, a Yamaha classical is probably well worth the extra money.

String tension was too low and the neck too wide for me
Sold this within a week and bought a 3/4 size steel string acoustic. I could not get used to the very low string tension of the classical strings or the width of the neck. I wear a large, or medium-large glove if that gives you any idea of the difficulty of spanning the neck on chords such as C or G. Excellent construction of the instrument, the man who bought mine was very happy with it; he also has large hands and long fingers!

This is the worst guitar ever
This is the worst guitar ever!!! I bought it for Christmas for my 9 yr old daughter. I opened it a day before Christmas and tried to play it. The guitars poor construction resulted in cuts on my hand from moving up and down the fret board. The frets stick out past the neck and are like razorblades cutting my had with in seconds of picking up the guitar. I was only able to show my daughter the guitar on Christmas for fear she would cut herself on it. Amazon was good in issuing a refund and I spent some extra money to get the Yamaha 3/4 size which it is amazing!
