MELPO LED Flood Light Outdoor 30W, 300W Equivalent RGB Landscape Lighting

These lights are fantastic with bright, rich color and a great, user-friendly app! In past years, I spent hours putting lights along my gutters and climbing up and down ladders. This year I decided to work smarter and order these, and I could not be happier with the result. It took me far less time to set these up and they are as bright and rich in color as I had hoped. Additionally, the app is easy to use, and you can program the times for each light to come on or you can turn them all on or off or individually turn one on or off. Also, we had a few times that it rained, and they seem to do fine in the wet conditions, so far. The only thing I am not sure of is how long these will last as I only use them for about a month and a half this Christmas season for several hours each night. So far, so good! The cord length is a pretty standard five or 6 foot cord and it is the three prong outlet with the ground, which you would expect for something that’s intended for outdoor use. They are also relatively small and lightweight, but put out tremendous bright light.

Just bought these and got em today. Right out of the box I'm happy to the point of being compelled to write a rare (from me) review. I've been through a few sets of outdoor flood lights over the years, and have a bunch of colored led lights inside too. These have the best colors of anything I've bought from Amazon so far. They're super bright too, but can be controlled to dim as needed with the app. The app is super fast and easy to setup and seems to have great control on the colors. It has group control, and just multi unit control, and also a bunch of modes it can run. I'll update in the future if this opinion changes, but so far I'm very impressed at this price. I'll be using them for lighting up Halloween and Christmas, decorations, and just the exterior of the house.

Used it for my wedding reception and it literally made the room look AMAZING! They’re so bright and easy to use I cannot recommend this product enough. I bought 2 sets and they all connected together or separate just depending on what you want! It truly made the night better - so easy to control with my phone and change the vibe in a moment. It was a last minute purchase that I will use again and again!

These are nice, they change colors and adjust temperature, the remote app is just OK... The lights are VERY bright if you want them to be, and waterproof is a huge plus that's why I got them, but they are not very good at consistant automation. There's many times I find one on during the day when it should have been shut off. And if one gets un plugged and re plugged it might have an issue and need to make sure app is connected to it. So far they perform good enough to appreciate.

These lights are exactly what I wanted to replace the flood lights we use every year - just for Christmas. Assuming they last - which I think they will (I have had good experience with LED), the price and performance of these, is a deal. Shipping was quick for the units (4). Some thought required for the placement - I set them directly on the ground for now, but will consider attaching to a wood base if they move around too much. The units and their respective stands seem stable enough, but will just have to see how it works. The phone app took me longer than I hoped, but it is doable even by an Android fogey. The app was easy to locate using the QR code - the instructions for the units took multiple tries, but ultimately I was able to add each light individually and set the timing of each light individually. Once I got the hang of that then it all made better sense. The directions were not very explicit - but if motivated, you can figure it out - or invite your grandchild over to put it on - but then you are going to have to count on them every time you want to change the pattern, color or timing. The set will work for us because I can now easily change the on/off time and pick almost any color for any season. I can box up my old flood lights and timers and give them to someone else to fiddle with every Christmas. Cheers.

The lights were great! they didn't heat up the way I thought they might. They were in the rain with no issues (Not that I would submerge them or anything), but there was a good amount of rain. I used 2 of them to light up the 12' skeleton from Home depot and they worked very well for that. The other two I used to light up the 9.5' werewolf. Again it worked very well. I grouped them in the app controller as pairs and I set timers for both lights. There were a couple of times the timer didn't seem to work right, so I'd probably rate the app a bit lower (maybe a 3 star). A fun thing to do was to play music from my phone and watch the lights randomly change color to the music. I realized that my images both had Red lights for Halloween. But there were a lot of colors to choose from. Now what can I do with these for Christmas??? I'll figure out something... Update 10/23. I purchased 4 more of these lights this year. The timer is now consistent in the app. I highly recommend them for being fairly easy to use and i even used them for July 4th for a wash of Red white and blue in my windows. They are super bright for being the 30 watt versions and I have a couple of 100 watt lights that are bigger but they get too hot for my liking. (Again not these lights).

I am extremely impressed with these lights. I bought 4 last year that still work with no issues and they have been outside all year and I bought 8 more this year. The app is the bomb. No connectivity issues, immediately recognizes the light to add it, you can rename each light, make them work in sync, customize etc. I do not have to be right up on the light to get it to respond. I can sit on my deck 30ft away from the light and can control it with my phone. I have paid much more for “smart” lights that have an app and they ended up being garbage and the app a joke. Not these lights! I cannot say enough good things about how impressed I am with the quality of the lights and the app and especially at this price. It’s really nice when you buy a product that does exactly what it says it can do with no issues.

Straight out of the box or within an hour of use 2 out of 8 did not work. Returned and ordered again. Not a good start. App or firmware or chip needs a lot of work. Can’t schedule a scene; each light needs its own schedule set. Not sure what the point of mesh is. Sure you can have one light set the scene for the other lights but they need to be already on; control light will NOT turn the other lights on to start scene. That is terrible and makes mesh useless. I thought at least mesh would keep the lights in sync. Nope. the lights will go out of sync and get worse over time. The only way to get the lights to do a scene together is to group them together and set the scene and scheduled each light to turn on at the same time. Problem with that is each lights internal clock is slightly off from each other so they will not be in sync at all. You heard that right, you cannot just program the group to turn on at a certain time set to a certain scene. You can do it manually. You must only add one device (the others cannot be setup in the app), turn on all the lights and then set the scene for the control light which will do the scene for other lights, then turn them off at some point during the night - no way to automate this. I’m seriously considering returning these but I don’t see a better alternative. Maybe I should be patient and something better will come out in the future. 1 year Update. Got them out of storage to set up for Christmas and 3 out 8 don’t work. High dollar junk. I found out if you group the lights set to a scene and use a 3rd party power plug with timer they will of course all come on and the same time but best part, they will all be in sync.

These were a lot brighter than I thought they would be and they didn't get super hot after several hours of use. I bought these to use as up-lights for a bands stage show and they worked great. easy to set up with the app (only down side is i wished they worked with magic lantern app like the other lights i have) but that's minor. easy to control individual colors haven't left them outside yet but they seem pretty solidly built and i like them to date.

These lights are great!. They are small and very bright. The App does offer a lot of colour choices and styles. I read previous comments about the App not allowing you to do certain things. They all seem to be available now on the APP. I guess they did an update after reading the concerns. I have them mounted outside and have been working through harsh changes in the season. Would purchase more!

I have purchased several sets of these for holiday lighting and to light up my back yard. The app is easy to use.

The lights are fantastic and colours vivid. We used them for both christmas and then purple/orange for halloween. We found two stopped working properly after 1 year so I contacted customer service and they replaced them easily and very quickly. The app is a bit confusing and takes time to figure it out. We also connected each light to the app separately and then took the name it came up as and made a label for that light so we knew which one to set which colour.

Ces lumières spots illuminent très bien. Je m'en sert à l'intérieur et c'est vraiment cool. Pas besoin d'installer des strips de DELs, seulement les brancher dans une prise électrique. C'est le seul modèle que j'ai trouvé qui ont la fonction "MESH". Ceci permet d'être chaînés entre eux, simplement être à moins de 25 pieds (Portée standard du Bluetooth) du plus près de toi et il va répéter la commande de changement reçue aux autres spots qui ne recevraient normalement pas le signal, s'ils n'étaient pas chaînés avec celui que tu as en ligne. Pour ce qui est de la fonction "Suivre la musique", les 4 spots sont synchros, mais sont en retard par rapport aux impulsions de la musique. (Environ 1/4 de temps en retard). Globalement, je le recommande fortement à un tel point que je suis en dilème à savoir, si je m'en achète un autre kit de 4 pour une autre pièce... Finalement trop amusant, très fiable, j'en ai racheté 1 autre kit de 4.
