Kit arrives in a small box with everything you need. Screwdriver, stability mount, screw, drivers on CD, instructions, and the BT/WiFi card. Upgraded three laptops at the same time. Install of the cards took 5 minutes. All three laptops discovered the new WiFi and BT devices. 1 of 3 auto installed drivers. It had Windows 10. The other Windows 10 laptop needed the CD to install the drivers. The last laptop had Windows 11 and it had an OS update queued requiring a reboot so I do not know if it would have added the drivers normally or not. After the OS update it installed the drivers and connected to the Wifi. All three laptops showed an increase in speed from a distance and connected via 5Ghz as I do not have 6E, only 6 mesh system. The kids needed the faster cards and mu-mimo capability for their laptops to play Steam games on an Oculus Quest VR and stream them at the same time. The devices had to be on the same wireless network, not a mix of ethernet/wireless. (STUPID) For the $35 price point, this was a simple upgrade with too many upsides not to do.

Never purchased or replaced a wireless card in a laptop before, so was a bit apprehensive about it all. Did all my research, of course. I needed to replace my failing wifi card in my aging Dell Precision 5510 (wifi kept disconnecting randomly). This upgraded wireless card (newer wifi standard, etc) works perfectly. Stable connection now, and faster connection speeds to my router! Very easy installation process, although I did need to search separately on the internet for those steps and videos. Not so much for the wireless card installation, but more for my specific Dell laptop (how to take off the cover, where to locate the wifi card, etc). It's also important you download the new required driver for this card from the Intel website first, and have it waiting on your laptop to install after the physical installation of the card. Even though the driver software comes on a small CD with this card, my laptop does not have a CD drive, so that was pretty much useless to me. My Dell laptop needed two types of screw heads to take off the underside plate, then to be safe you have to disconnect the battery (just carefully unplug the small delicate ribbon power cable), take off one screw holding down the card, then carefully pop off the two antennae wires from the existing card (they look like very tiny stud snap/pop fasteners like you'd find on a coat!), carefully pull out the existing m.2 card, pop in the new one and then work backwards through your steps to get everything back in place (remember which way round the two black and white antennas go back on!). I thought I'd put all that in this review, as it might be helpful to someone at some point in time. Anyway - very pleased with the purchase. Thank you.
