I ordered Universal Yums Variety Pack to have some snacks during a brainstorming session we were having in our business discussing international sales opportuniities. My employees enjoyed eating the snacks and they provided a fun jumping off point to get people thinking about consumers in different countries. The snacks were a big success. Everyone is expecting another box at our next meeting!

Cool idea, we tried them as a family! Was fun a yummy!

UPDATED 4/26/22: I am updating my review to lower my rating. I had a problem with one of the boxes inside the kit being smashed. Reputable companies will ask you to contact them with problems first, so they have the opportunity to correct the problem to make the customer happy. When I contacted them, they told me to contact Amazon! The issue wasn't Amazon's because the outside of the box was undamaged. Despite my original rave review, I'm highly disappointed in their customer request response and will no longer purchase from them.I have tried many different international snack packs, and the Universal Yums packs are definitely the best! The samples aren't just small items with only a small handful of contents inside. They are full-size bags, packages, or boxes. I've already ordered another one!

I love this box. Great mix of snacks. Perfect size to indulge in a different treat for days to come. Can’t wait to try them all. The dark chocolate shortbread were very tasty. I wonder what I’ll pick tonight?

Often I will go to some specialty grocery stores to find candies that can’t be found in typical stores for my grandkids. I like to give them unique treats around Christmas. I think it’s fun and it’s neat to try new flavors.My husband and I decided to try out this box first. But after trying it, we plan on ordering another to divide amongst the grandkids for the holidays. Also after trying everything, I know which grandkids to give which treats.The box is sturdy and well made. It protected the inside snacks well in the commute.When you first open the box there is a lovely print out that says each snack and where it’s from. If one was gifting the whole box, I think this is a lovely addition. Also all the snacks look happy on the print out with smiley faces.My husband and I all had our favorites. He called anything with nuts or chocolate. But I still got to at least taste one of each.The snack set has one beverage and different textures and sweet/sour is also present. It’s a very nice variety box that really covers the taste bud needs. The flavors were fresh and different. I enjoyed trying out the new snacks. I had never had a single one of these before so it was fun! With a fantastic presentation and assortment I would definitely recommend this snack box.

This was cool, I love the different snacks from different countries and it opened my mind and taste buds to the different flavors offered in the snack box. My favorite was from Japan and it was the chicken larb seaweed chips but all the different candies and a soda was delicious the only hard part was trying to pick a favorite. Really every one was my favorite. The price is great and to just try snacks from other countries makes it awesome! I'm definitely going to try more universal snack boxes.

On the rare occasions that I have been gifted a gift box of edible goodies usually half of it goes to waste. Not this box. I got exactly what I was supposed to, a nice mix of mostly sweet, but a couple savory and a carbonated apple juice drink. The Spanish truffle box was a little dented, but the truffles were fine.Everything was fresh and had at least 6 months left until they expired, not that these goodies lasted that long. They were also small, but full sized packages. It was a little heavy on the chewy, gummy type candies, with 4 items falling into that category.The truffles were great, both the French and Spanish. The Spanish were labeled as salted caramel flavored. I got the caramel notes, but no salty which made me happy. The Swedish tutti frutti proved to be addictive. What makes me a little unhappy now that I've been introduced to these is that the tutti frutti flavor of Bubs Goody aren't sold on Amazon, nor are the LaCasa chocolate salted caramel truffles (the overall winner of the box for me taste wise with the French truffles coming up #2. I think there were about 14 vs. 4 of the French).The mascarpone wafers, individually wrapped and 10 to the box, tasted like a plain Pepperidge Farm cookie. The mascarpone taste was very, very light. The British blue raspberry candies had a modeling clay type taste similar to Now or Laters and about as chewy so I was worried about my dental work (not that it stopped me from eating them, I like Now or Laters even if my teeth don't).The apple soda tasted like real apple juice that had been carbonated. Some additional sugar was added.The Italian gummy candies (Dufour brand) were probably my least favorite, they were soft and individually wrapped, but the flavors didn't wow. Of course, it was the biggest bag at 6 oz.I'd be happy to receive another one of these.
