I use this almost daily for testing motors. Charging low voltage batteries. Only down side is it doesn't stay on constant current mode when charging higher voltage batteries. Like our old 18v nimh drill battery. But happily charges smaller voltage ones. Has a good bonus of having a fast charge 2amp output USB which I use to charge my phone up daily and other 5v devices

The Watt meter is a very useful part of this meter as is the Amp meter.You can quickly see if there is a fault on the circuit without having to connect a MM in series with one of the power leads.I have two of these and I would purchase another one if the need arose. A USB socket(at 5v) is also included.

Having to touch the anode and cathode together is a convoluted way of setting this up.Returned it and got one that you don't have to tough the + & - together to set the voltage.A simple knob which you turn is all you need for voltage and ampage.Would I recommend it? Definitely not

I used this three times. On the third time, I switched it on with no load attached. There was a loud bang and flash from the back where my hand was. It tripped the ground floor breaker in the consumer unit.This power supply has a one year warranty but I wouldn't accept a replacement even if it was offered. I've returned for a full refund.

Accurate, consistent and easy to use. Good range of voltage and current. The constant voltage and constant current modes remain true to their settings, as described in the instructions, under changing load conditions. I think it is great!
