Grandson was always wanting to put his legs out and rest them on the passenger seat in front of him, which in a collision, is very unsafe. His legs dangling from the seat were not comfortable after some time and I was glad to find this on Amazon. It took some time to get around to installing it. It has been installed for two months now and I pick him up from school in the afternoon two weeks a month and he absolutely loves having a foot rest. He was excited to show it off to his parents and grandpa. I have since bought one for his mother's car. The footrest part is adjustable as he grows, which I like. It is somewhat difficult to adjust down from him to get into the seat and then raise up to the right height once he is buckled in. So getting in and out is a little precarious. The footrest is not sturdy enough for him to use it to get into the seat and the "pole" makes it hard to climb into the seat so he has to be helped into the car seat. So while it has some drawbacks, the overall function and use are great and it makes for a more comfortable ride for him.

My 6 yr old is so much more comfortable, it was painful for her to sit with her feet dangling. (Not the highest quality but it should hopefully be able to last for the duration I’ll need it)

Pretty easy to install. The latch system clips are skinny so you're able to install your booster seat using latch and this together. Works decent though. Wish the foot rest extended out a bit more. Feels like my kid's legs have to be at a perfect t 90° angle to rest on it. Material looks shiny and cheap. A matte color would've been better.

My 7 year old son has long legs and was frequently complaining of his feet or legs going to sleep because of them hanging off the edge of his car seat. Purchased this right before a longer car ride and it was a lifesaver! We’ve had this for a few months now and it’s totally worth it. It’s easy to set up and install and easy to even move to a different vehicle.

I have two of these, one for each of my older kids in booster seats. It was a little tricky to install partly because you have to take out their car seat/booster to install it and then install the car seat back in place over it. One of my kids has used this successfully for about 2.5 years. But my younger child, who is 5 now, was just rougher on it I suppose. After just about a year it broke. You can see that we attempted to fix it with duct tape at the point where it snapped. But that did not even last a day. At $50, this is just too expensive to replace. So, my younger child will just go without knee support unless I can find something cheaper out there. And I don't think I will get one of these in the future for my baby as he gets big enough for his legs to dangle. All in all, a nice product but a little too expensive for the level of sturdiness and longevity it provides.

Very nice quality, easy to adjust and install. I have a Nissan Pathfinder and a Chicco "My fit"carseat/booster, this foot pedestal fit really well. I was able to install it under the seat protector of the car seat, with no issues. The plastic is pretty thick and heavy duty, I don't think it's going to be easily broken or cracked. After pulling all the parts out of the box and laying them out I noticed the footrest says that once the protective sticker has been removed for installation, the product cannot be returned. So I encourage you to take all the pieces out of the box and check everything to make sure it's not cracked before you put it together. I had no issues, my pieces arrived in perfect condition, this just made me a little more aware to double check pieces before I started putting it together. Overall I'm pleased, happy with my purchase, and so far I would recommend it to anyone else.

Facile à installer et vraiment un beau changement pour notre enfant. C’est plus confortable que ce soit les petits ou grands trajets en voiture. Le fait que ce soit réglable est vraiment génial car ça va l’accompagner pour un bon moment.

七歳になる息子用に購入しました。 産まれてからベビーベット、チャイルドシートと必ず年齢に合わせた物を必ず使っており、一度も愚図らずにチャイルドシートに座っていたのですが、ここにきて長時間になるともう帰りたいと言うようになりました。 脚をブラブラとする様子も見受けられチャイルドシートだと足が浮き、腿裏が常に圧迫されるのではと思い改善策を探して此方の製品を見つけました。 大人だってずっと脚をブラブラさせるのは辛いし、食卓などで使う子供椅子にも必ず足置きがあるんだから全然あって当たり前のように思います。 装着後はすごく喜んで、お尻も足も痛くならないそうです。シートを蹴る事も全く無くなりました。今まで我慢してたんだなと思えば、もっと早く知っていればと思います。 装着方法は汎用性の結果かしっかりと固定される物ではありません。必要最低限ってところでしょうか。

Overall I'm very happy with it. Unfortunately, it wobbles by design. For the life of me I cannot understand why the base wasn't designed to be long and flat, so it is unstable. I resolved this by tying it to irons under the back seat. I like that it has firm hooks and I didn't need to remove the whole child seat to install it. I think the maker intended it to wobble so it's not used as a foot step, but worse is kids try to use it like that anyway and the thing falls over Also, I thought it was so odd that the book says it is "very proud of me for buying this instead of pretty clothes", this is unnecessary passive aggressive lecturing that I don't need from a foot stool. Just awful.
